2017 Fantasy Football Week 3 Rankings

on

The injuries are really starting to pile up this season. In Week 1 we saw some big-name running backs and receivers go down. This past week the top tight ends in the game really took a beating, such as Rob Gronkowski, Greg Olsen, Jimmy Graham and Jordan Reed.

Waivers in most leagues are over, but you can still check out who to pick up to replace said injured players. You can also read up on what players are fine to drop at this point in the season.

Making the correct add and drops are fine, however knowing who to play is another. Use the Fantasy Six Pack staff rankings to help you make those decisions.

2017 Fantasy Football Week 3 Rankings

Each week I will be giving some notes for things you will want to keep an eye on as the week progresses. It will be mostly injury related, but anything that could affect the rankings, that we know about, will be mentioned. Then you can come back and review the rankings as lineup lock get closer.

  • John Brown is likely to miss Week 3 with an injured quad.
  • Terrance West is dealing with an injury, but is likely to play.
  • Jordan Howard was in a sling after the game after the game, is it looking very doubtful at this point he plays.
  • Corey Coleman is out indefinitely after getting surgery on his hand. With Kenny Britt struggling, Rashard Higgings becomes an intriguing play.
  • Keep an eye on Packers receivers Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. Both are dealing with injuries.
  • We saw how poor the Vikings offense was last week without Sam Bradford so we will be keeping an eye on him.
  • DeMarco Murray is day to day with a hamstring injury. Clearly if he is out Derrick Henry gets a huge boost.
  • Rob Kelley has a rib injury. Samaje Perine struggled but would get the bulk of the carries in his absence.
