The Fantasy Six Pack Hour: Injuries Strike Back

on

May the Fourth be with you. You are likely listening to this podcast around that date and we are both Star Wars nerds so we thought we would name our show this week Injury Strike Back.

Look it hasn’t been an easy year for injuries, but over the last couple of weeks we seemed to have dodged that big one. Well no more. They are ready to get us back, much like the Empire was the Rebels.

We’ve got that, our 3 up-3 down, waiver adds and our beer of the week.

Injuries

We roll through all the major injuries over the last few days.

This includes Corey Seager and his season-ending Tommy John, Robbie Ray dealing with an oblique injury and even Jacob deGrom leaving his most recent start with a hyperextended right elbow.

3 Up-3 Down

We regularly talk about all the guys who are struggling who you should drop and all the guys you should pick up off waivers. However, what about the in between?

That is exactly what we cover here in our 3 up-3 down segment. A.J. and I will both give three players whose arrow is pointing up or down and our opinions on each.

Waiver Wire

Struggling to get going this season? Get a jump start with our waiver wire additions, which includes a few young pitchers you need to pay attention to.

Beer of the Week

We will start closing out each week with what beer A.J. and I are drinking. Feel free to share with us your favorites on Twitter @FantasySixPack and @AppleGarthAlgar.
