I want to start by thanking all of you for reading this post each and every week.

However, this will be our final fantasy hockey post in 2018.

This is a busy time of the year for everybody with holiday travel, wrapping up things at work, parties, etc..

We look forward to providing you with quality NHL content in 2019 and want to wish you and your family a happy and healthy new year!

More Than Half the NHL Plays Four Games

There are just two games on Wednesday and three on Friday.

Anaheim, Nashville and New York (I) start the week with back-to-back road games.

Columbus and Florida end the week with b2b games on the road.

Montreal plays at Colorado and at Arizona on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Blackhawks play at Dallas and at Colorado on Thursday and Friday.

Arizona, Boston, Detroit and Philadelphia end the week with home/away games.

The Stars finish with a road game in Minnesota on Saturday, before a home game on Sunday vs the Islanders.

The Sharks, Maple Leafs and Golden Knights have back-to-back home games on Sat/Sun.

Carolina and Vancouver play all three games at home.

St. Louis, Tampa Bay and Winnipeg play all three games on the road.

Buffalo and Ottawa have a back-to-back home/away games on Friday/Saturday. The Caps have an away/home b2b Fri/Sat. Washington plays both the Sabres and Senators.

The Edmonton Oilers are the only team with two games this week.
