The Washington Capitals are converting on 38.5% of their power play opportunities. The league average is just 20.5%!

Despite being top 10 in goals scored and power play opportunities, the Carolina Hurricanes have scored just two power-play goals – 6.67% – the worst in the NHL.

The Nashville Predators have a league-best goal differential of +12. The Detroit Red Wings are -17.

Teams Playing Four Games

  • Chicago Blackhawks
  • Colorado Avalanche
  • Edmonton Oilers
  • Vancouver Canucks
  • Winnipeg Jets

Winnipeg plays back-to-back road games on Fri/Sat against the Red Wings and Maple Leafs. The have a home game against Toronto earlier in the week as well.

Chicago and Edmonton end the week with a matchup in Chicago, both having played road games the night before.

Dominik Kahun (4%) is currently playing on the Blackhawks first line with Jonathan Toews and Alex DeBrincat. He also plays on the second power-play unit, according to Kahun has a goal and two assists in his last four games. His ice time has increased as well, playing 15-16 minutes in the last two contests.

The Canucks play back-to-back road games on Wed/Thu against Vegas and Arizona.

Bo Horvat (38%) now has five goals (2 PP), scoring in three of his last four games. Daily Faceoff has him centering the Canucks first line and first power-play unit with Nikolay Goldobin & Brock Boeser. Horvat leads Vancouver in shots on goal.

The Detroit Red Wings and Las Vegas Golden Knights play three home games.

The Florida Panthers visit the New York Metropolitan area, with back-to-back road games against the Rangers and Islanders on Tuesday and Wednesday, before traveling to New Jersey on Saturday to play the Devils.

The Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals will spend the weeks in Canada – at Calgary, at Edmonton, at Vancouver.

The San Jose Sharks and Tampa Bay Lightning also play three road games.
