2018 NFL DFS Week 2 Team Stacks

on

The Cincinnati Bengals took care of the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football, with A.J. Green scoring three touchdowns in the first half!

The New York Giants will be in Dallas, playing the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. That means no Saquon Barkley, Ezekiel Elliott or Odell Beckham in the Week 2 main slate.

On Monday Night Football, the Chicago Bears host the Seattle Seahawks.

It’s safe to assume DFS players will be all over the Kansas City Chiefs (Patrick Mahomes/Tyreek Hill) / Pittsburgh Steelers (James Conner/Antonio Brown/JuJu Smith-Schuster) matchup.

Another popular play will be the Los Angeles Chargers (Philip Rivers/Melvin Gordon/Keenan Allen/Chargers DST) against the Buffalo Bills, who just allowed the Ravens to score 47 points.

Some might pivot to find a Cleveland Browns Tyrod Taylor and a WR (Jarvis Landry/Josh Gordon) stack, against the New Orleans Saints defense that just got torched by Ryan Fitzpatrick.

And of course, Drew Brees + Alvin Kamara + Michael Thomas is always a safe stack in cash games.

Let’s take a look at some other team stacks that can help you take down a GPP in Week 2!

2018 NFL DFS Week 2 Team Stacks

San Francisco 49ers vs Detroit Lions

The Jets just destroyed the Lions, so how about getting Jimmy Garoppolo into a few lineups at a discounted price (QB13)?

Marquise Goodwin has been ruled out, rookie Dante Pettis will start for San Francisco.

George Kittle saw nine targets in Week 1, going for 90 yards on five receptions against a very good Vikings defense. Goodwin was limited to just 17 snaps against Minnesota.

The money saved with a San Fran stack allows you to pick your favorite RB/WR matchups.

This game has the third highest over/under in Week 2 at 48 and the Niners have an implied points total of 27.

If you believe in the Jets repeating that week 1 Monday Night Football success, how should you approach it?

If it were me, I would go with Isaiah Crowell and the Jets DST. Gang Green just dominated what was supposed to be a high powered Lions offense, so stopping Ryan Tannehill/Kenny Stills shouldn’t be an issue. Their price tags leave you with tons of cash to build a lineup with some big-name players.

The over/under for this one is just 44 points and the Jets are just three point favorites with an implied point total of 23.5.

Los Angeles Rams vs Arizona Cardinals

The Washington Redskins just dominated Arizona, racking up 429 yards of offense. Alex Smith and Adrian Peterson helped Washington tally 38:08 minutes in time of possession, to the Cardinals 21:52.

The Rams receivers are reasonably priced, with Brandin Cooks leading the way as WR19 on FanDuel and WR20 on both DraftKings.

If you have a value wide receiver that you want to lock in, you can go with Goff and any Rams receiver, while adding a tier-one and tier-two running back, and a tier-one wide receiver.

If you want to go Gurley/Rams DST, you could add your favorite QB/WR or QB/TE stack with multiple tier-two players.

Los Angeles currently owns the 2nd highest implied points total, behind the Saints, at 29.25 points and are 12.5 point favorites.

Alex Smith is always a safe value play at quarterback and Adrian Peterson looked great in his return to the NFL. Peterson totaled 166 yards on 28 touches in Week 1.

Joe Mixon just rushed for 95 yards on the Colts and added 54 receiving yards on five catches.

If you want to pay for Jordan Reed and stack him with Smith, the Colts allowed Tyler Eifert to catch all three of his targets for 44 yards last week.

Washington are six point favorites at home, with an implied points total of 25.75.
