2018 NFL DFS Week 3 Team Stacks

on

The Cleveland Browns finally did it, they won a game, defeating the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football.

The New England Patriots travel to Detroit to play the Lions Sunday Night Football. That means no Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford, Golden Tate, Marvin Jones, Kenny Golladay or Rob Gronkowski in the Week 3 main slate.

On Monday Night Football, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Pittsburgh Steelers. No FitzMagic this week on the main slate.

It’s safe to assume DFS players will be all over the Kansas City Chiefs (Patrick Mahomes/Kareem Hunt/Tyreek Hill/Travis Kelce) / San Francisco 49ers (Jimmy Garoppolo/Matt Brieda/George Kittle) matchup. That over/under of this game is 56 points.

Another popular play will be the New Orleans Saints (Drew Brees/Alvin Kamara/Michael Thomas) at Atlanta Falcons (Matt Ryan/Tevin Coleman/Julio Jones) matchup. That game has an over/under of 53.5 points.

Let’s take a look at some other team stacks that can help you take down a GPP in Week 3!

Next Gen Stats show us that Watson is willing to hold onto the ball to allow plays to develop and take advantage of the deep ball. Tavon Austin just burned the Giants last week, there is no reason to believe Hopkins/Fuller can’t each do the same!

Should the Texans be able to generate any pass rush with J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney, Eli Manning stands no chance at having any success on Sunday.

The over/under is just 41.5 points in this one but the Texans are 6 point favorites, with an implied point total of 24.25.

If Marcus Mariota does not play, this could get ugly…quickly. The Jaguars just dominated Tom Brady last week, and Blaine Gabbert could be the opposing QB in Week 3.

While I don’t imagine another 42 passes for Bortles, Cole is capable of taking any route run to the end zone.

T.J. Yeldon did not practice on Wednesday and Leonard Fournette is still battling a hamstring injury. Grant is dangerous every time he touches the ball and had six receptions on seven targets last week. Even if Fournette/Yeldon play, I see game script keeping them on the sideline (to stay healthy) with a lead and Grant being a solid value play this week.

The Jaguars are 9.5 point home favorites with an implied point total of 24.75, in a game with an over/under of just 40.

Philadelphia Eagles vs Indianapolis Colts

Wentz will make his season debut, but will not have Jay Ajayi or Darren Sproles in the backfield. That means Clement is in line for a huge workload in Week 3.

The Eagles are 7 point home favorites, with an implied point total of 27. This game has a 47 point O/U.
