2018 NFL DFS Week 6 Team Stacks

on

The Philadelphia Eagles looked like a Super Bowl winning team on Thursday Night, but then you remember they played the New York Football Giants. How about Saquon Barkley though?! Despite their lack of success, I think the Giants made the right pick in the NFL Draft.

The Kansas City Chiefs travel to New England to play the Patriots on Sunday Night Football. That means no Patrick Mahomes/Travis Kelce or Tom Brady/Rob Gronkowski stacks for the Week 6 main slate. The over/under in this one is 60 points!

On Monday Night Football, the Green Bay Packers host the San Francisco 49ers. That means no Aaron Rodgers/Davante Adams or C.J. Beathard/George Kittle stacks for the main slate.

On top of those players not being available, the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions are on bye weeks.

It’s safe to assume DFS players will be all over the Atlanta Falcons (Matt Ryan/Devonta Freeman/Julio Jones/Calvin Ridley) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Jameis Winston/Mike Evans/DeSean Jackson/Cameron Brate) matchup. The over/under of this game is 57.5 points.

Another popular play will be the Los Angeles Rams at the Denver Broncos. After watching the New York Jets torch that Broncos defense, I can only imagine what Jared Goff, Todd Gurley and a healthy group of WRs are capable of! The Rams have an implied point total of 29.25!

Let’s take a look at some other team stacks that can help you take down a GPP in Week 6!

Bengals

Andy Dalton has looked good in 2018 and the Steelers defense was just pretending to be good last week against Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons.

Mixon looked good in his return last week, tallying over 100 total yards and catching touchdown. Pittsburgh defense has yet to be challenged by a team that is actually capable of running the football.

At least one of the Bengals WRs are good for ~100 yards each each and a touchdown. Both Green and Boyd have been lighting up opposing secondaries and the Steelers have been opening doors for the opposition.

Like I said before, the Steelers were pretending to be a good defense against the Falcons. I blame the Falcons more than I credit the Steelers!

Steelers

Teams that try to throw the ball against this Bengals defense have succeeded. In doing so, the opposing QB has gone up over 300 passing yards with multiple touchdowns. That’s what I would expect out of Big Ben this week.

The Bengals failed to stop the only real RB they have faced this year in Christian McCaffrey (184 yards, 28 carries). This will be Conner’s last game without Le’Veon Bell and a bye week follows. I expect the Steelers to lean heavily on Conner this week after reminding everybody just how good he can be when he touches the ball last week.

After three straight 100 yard receiving games, JuJu has just 94 yards on eight catches (15 targets) over the last two weeks. He did catch a touchdown last week though.

The Bengals defense did get beat by two receivers in the same game against the Falcons in Week 3 – their only real challenge.

You might even say they got beat by all three WRs as Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley gained 100 yards each while Mohamed Sanu scored twice!

The over/under is 50.5 points in this one and you might want to to make sure you have at least one player from this contest in all of your lineups, if not more!

Seattle Seahawks @ Oakland Raiders – London

This one is being played at London’s Wembley Stadium, but considered a home game for the Raiders.

Nobody is surprised that the Seahawks running back situation has been such a confusing mess. However, they are gaining yards and scoring touchdowns which is a beautiful sight to behold!

Doug Baldwin has played in three games, twice seeing just a single target. He is clearly not healthy, despite that five catch game two weeks ago. Tyler Lockett is Wilson’s favorite target right now and has been pretty consistent against some pretty good NFL defenses.

The Oakland Raiders defense is not good.

Seattle is 2.5 point road (neutral field) favorites, with an implied points total of 25.5.
