Without further delay, let’s get to the Black Friday Picks!

2018 NFL Week 12 Betting Pick-Six: Black Friday Edition

Against the Spread (A.T.S.) Picks

Eagles vs. Giants – Line: PHI -6.0

Ah, Philly-Philly, where have you gone? As if Week 11’s complete dismantling of the Eagles, courtesy of Drew Brees and the Saints, was not bad enough for the Birds, the injuries continue to mount for the reigning Super Bowl Champs. Now, the Eagles are in danger of falling into last place in the NFC East if they do not right the ship against the Giants on Sunday.

Speaking of the Giants, New York has been playing much better “team” football over the past two weeks. Led by a fierce rushing attack from rookie Saquon Barkley and a rejuvenated passing attack led by Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr., the G-Men look to win their third-straight game.

Typically, I’d say playing at home is a huge benefit for the Eagles, but they are currently 2-3 playing in The Linc in 2018. And, with all the injuries to the Philly secondary, I think Eli and OBJ will continue their holiday of feasting on the depleted Birds.

Pick: Giants

Colts vs. Dolphins – Line: IND -7.5

Aside from the absurdly good seasons from the Saints, the Rams, and the Chiefs, the Indianapolis Colts are one of the hottest teams in the 2018 NFL Season right now. Winners of four-straight, Andrew Luck and the Colts have a very winnable match-up against the Dolphins in Week 12. Miami is currently 1-4 on the road this season, and I expect them to fall to 1-5 come Cyber Monday.

Pick: Colts

Over/Under (O/U) Picks

Texans vs. Titans – O/U: 41.5

Bob McNair, the Texans founder, CEO, and senior chairman, passed away on Black Friday at the age of 81. He played such an intricate roll in Houston’s rise to prominence in the NFL, and he will be missed by many. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends, as well as to the entire Houston Texans organization.

I assume there will be some tributes to McNair on Monday Night Football, and deservedly so. But, the biggest tribute I anticipate seeing is his team’s continued dominance!

I just spoke of the win-streak currently being authored by another AFC South member, the Indianapolis Colts. But, I would be remiss to not highlight Houston’s current 7-game win streak! After a slow start to the 2018 NFL Season, the Texans are absolutely rolling, and that trend should continue on Cyber Monday!

Pick: The Over

Buccaneers vs. 49ers – O/U: 54

In Week 12’s episode of “Quarterback Roulette,” we will see Jamies Winston take over as Tampa Bay’s starting quarterback. But, Winston will be without O.J. Howard, who was placed on the IR with ankle/foot injuries. There are still decent weapons at Winston’s disposal, but losing Howard does hurt.

The most interesting point about this game is that each of these teams enters this game after losing to the New York Giants. Each of those previous match-ups finished with fairly high-scores due to lacking defensive play. This game should be more of the same, but I also see the offenses falling short of the over/under.

Pick: The Under

Stacks (A.T.S. & O/U) Picks

Vikings vs. Packers – Line: MIN -3.5, O/U: 47.5

For the second-straight week, the Minnesota Vikings will face-off against a division opponent on Sunday Night Football. This week, the Vikes welcome the Packers to Minnesota for a very important game for both teams.

The Vikings currently sit in the sixth and final NFC playoff spot.  Green Bay, on the other hand, is still “in the hunt” for the playoffs, but they are behind both the 6-5 Redskins and the 5-5 Seahawks.

Team A-A-RON (Rodgers and Jones) needs to get going early and often this weekend. And, the Packers defense needs to find a way to contain Kirk Cousins, Adam Theilen and Stephon Diggs for the Pack to keep their playoff hopes alive. They cannot risk another tie to the Vikes!

Pick: Green Bay and the Under

Ravens vs. Raiders – Line BAL -10.5, O/U: 42.5

Oakland is finally back in the W-column after last week’s shocker over Arizona. Baltimore also got off their own losing snide, by sneaking by Cincy in Week 11. All four of the Ravens’ previous wins in 2018 have been double-digit differences.

Both teams have momentum on their side coming into this game. However, Oakland has to travel to the East Coast from their West Coast home, and they’ll be facing a hungry Lamar Jackson, starting his second straight game. Jackson did not pose much of a threat through the air last week, but he did plenty of damage with his legs.

I think Baltimore’s Defense will step-up at home, and Lamar Jackson will get this offense going hard after another week of practice with the first team unit. Sorry, Oakland, but this does not appear to be the week you get to start your first win-streak of the 2018 NFL Season.

Pick: Ravens and the Over
