Positional eligibility and ownership % ‘s will be based on Yahoo numbers. Week 11 will cover December 30 to January 5.

Weekly Schedule (December 30 to January 5)

Four games: CLE, DET, LAC, MIA, MIN, ORL, PHI, POR, WAS

Three games: ATL, BOS, BKN, CHA, CHI, DAL, DEN, GSW, IND, LAL, MEM, MIL, NYK, OKC, SAC, SAS, TOR, UTA

Two games: HOU, NOP, PHI

Starts Of The Week

Kent Bazemore, Portland Trail Blazers, SG/SF (28%)

Bazemore has been decent in Portland’s last ten games but should have above-average production with Carmelo Anthony‘s knee injury and the Blazers’ upcoming schedule (Phoenix, New York Knicks, Washington, Miami).

In his previous ten games, Bazemore averaged 29.3 minutes, 9.6 points, 4.5 three-pointers made, and 3 rebounds.

For the season, he is averaging 11.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per 36 minutes.

The defenses that Bazemore is facing have some of the league’s worst defensive ratings, Phoenix (110.9), New York (113.8), and Washington (116.1).

Cash in on Bazemore before he gets added to your league.

Daniel Theis, Boston Celtics, PF/C (9%)

I can’t think of an easier schedule than the Celtics in Week 11, Charlotte, Atlanta, and Chicago.

Charlotte allows the most Fantasy points to centers in the NBA (22.5 points and 18.2 rebounds).

Chicago allows the second-most Fantasy points to center in the league (22.6 points and 17.1 rebounds).

Even in a limited role, Theis has been productive for Boston. In his last five games, Theis averaged 7.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and had four blocks against the Pistons. It was his third game with at least three blocks this month. His points and rebounds should skyrocket against the cupcakes he’ll be facing in Week 11.

Sits For The Week

P.J. Tucker, Houston Rockets, SF/PF (68%)

Tucker has only two games in Week 11, and it is against two of the NBA’s best defensive teams (the Nuggets and the Sixers).

Denver has the third-best defensive rating with a 103.5, and the Sixers aren’t far behind with a 104.7 defensive rating. So don’t expect any big games for Tucker.

Tucker has had 18 games with less than nine points for the season and has only one double-digit point total in December.

Wendell Carter Jr., Chicago Bulls, C (86%)

Carter Jr. can be counted if you need rebounds but is an inconsistent scorer. His Week 11 matchups will make it hard for him to grab rebounds or score points.

The Bulls are facing two of the top-three defenses, the Milwaukee Bucks (102.1) and the Boston Celtics (103.5).

Utah (the Bulls’ other matchup) is no slouch against centers considering they allow the fewest points to centers.

Look for someone else for rebounds and points because Carter Jr. has a tough road ahead.

About Travis Argo

I'm a die hard fan of teams that constantly disappointment me every season. So, I write about fantasy sports to forget my sorrows. That's hard sometimes because I'm a Pacers correspondent for Fantasypros.com. I also recently graduated with honors from UNCC. Go Niners...I guess.
