Welcome to the 2019-20 Fantasy Basketball Week 18 Weekly Planner!

Each week, I’ll review which teams play favorable or unfavorable schedules and weekly streamers and weekly streamers and sits.

Streamers will focus on players with 50% or less ownership. And hey, if they play well, they might find a permanent spot on your roster.

Positional eligibility and ownership % ‘s will be based on Yahoo numbers. Week 18 will cover February 17 to February 23.

Weekly Schedule (February 17 to February 23)

Three games: CHI

Two games: ATL, BOS, BKN, CHA, CLE, DAL, DEN, DET, GSW, HOU, IND, LAL, MEM, MIA, MIL, MIN, NOP, OKC, PHI, PHX, POR, SAC, SAS, TOR, UTA, WAS

One game: LAC, NYK

Starts For The Week

Jordan Clarkson, Utah Jazz, PG/SG (45%)

Clarkson has been on a tear lately and will continue that hot streak in Week 18.

In his previous five games, Clarkson averaged 21 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3 assists, and shot 61.8 percent from the field.

In his last three games, Clarkson averaged 25 points, 5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and shot 62.5 percent from the field.

In Week 18, the Jazz have back-to-back games against the Spurs and the Rockets. Typically players are terrible in back-to-back games, but Clarkson. He is averaging 23 points, 3.5 assists, and 3.2 rebounds.

The Jazz’s Week 18 opponents (Spurs and Rockets) are terrible defensively against guards.

The Spurs are allowing 24.7 points, 8.2 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game to guards.

The Rockets have allowed 23.5 points, 8.4 assists, and 6.7 rebounds per game to guards this season.

Fantasy owners should not only stream Clarkson in Week 18 but should probably make him a permanent addition to their team.

Jae Crowder, Miami Heat, SF/PF (38%)

Speaking of people who are on a hot streak, how about the Miami Heat’s new trade deadline addition, Jae Crowder.

Since joining South Beach, Crowder is averaging 18 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2 steals, 1.3 assists, and shooting 60 percent from three-point range. The Heat will face off against the Hawks and Cavaliers in Week 18, and neither one of these teams is going to stop Crowder.

The Hawks have allowed 23.7 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game to forwards. Crowder should have quite a few three-pointers against the Hawks because they are terrible at defending stretch-fours.

The Cavaliers are allowing 23 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game to forwards this season.

Fantasy owners should expect Crowder to heat (see what I did there) up in Week 18.

Sits Of The Week

Week 18 is filled with teams that have one good matchup and one lousy matchup, and there are so few games in Week 18 (due to All-Star weekend) that Fantasy owners probably should not sit any of the starters.

About Travis Argo

I'm a die hard fan of teams that constantly disappointment me every season. So, I write about fantasy sports to forget my sorrows. That's hard sometimes because I'm a Pacers correspondent for Fantasypros.com. I also recently graduated with honors from UNCC. Go Niners...I guess.
