Start

Daniel Jones, QB, New York Giants vs. New York Jets

Week 10 brings football fans to the Battle of New York. Unfortunately, it’s more like the Battle of New Yuck! With a combined record of 3-14, the New Yuck teams will battle for the winner of the NFL Toilet Bowl.

Quarterback Daniel Jones will be without Even Engram and Sterling Shepard this week, however, I still like Jones as a decent bye week fill-in for Week 10. Jones has thrown a touchdown in each game that he started, including a four-touchdown effort against the Detroit Lions in Week 8. His Week 10 opponent has allowed three passing touchdowns in the last two games. Plus, Fantasy owners will enjoy the points that Jones provides with his legs, including his six carries for 54 yards last week against the Dallas Cowboys, which provides Jones a nice Fantasy floor.

For Fantasy purposes, there should be multiple scoring opportunities against each of these feeble defenses. Look for Daniel Jones to be a sneaky Fantasy option at quarterback in Week 10.

David Montgomery, RB, Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions

The Chicago Bears rookie running back is starting to display why he was a 2018 first-round pick. David Montgomery has scored in three of his last four games. Montgomery has to be looking forward to an ideal matchup in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions.

The Lions defense has given up the sixth-most rushing yards per game while allowing the second-most touchdowns to running backs. The Lions have allowed over 140 rushing yards in three out of the last four games.

Montgomery and Fantasy owners should be salivating over this week’s matchup. With the Bears finally giving him touches, Montgomery should be an RB1 in Week 10.

J.D. McKissic, RB, Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears

Even with Kerryon Johnson rushing the ball, the Detriot Lions did not possess a strong running attack. It is the Matthew Stafford show now in Detroit where he has formidable weapons in Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones, and T.J. Hockenson.

Recently, Fantasy owners have seen J.D. McKissic make an impact out of the Lions backfield. McKissic is more useful in PPR leagues, and in Week 9, he finished with seven touches for 72 total yards and found the end zone. Unfortunately, he must share touches with Ty Johnson and Paul Perkins, but neither of those backs has shown the ability to produce consistently out of the backfield.

The caveat with the current Lions offensive attack this week is that Stafford and his offensive weapons will be going up against the Chicago Bears, who allow the third-fewest passing yards per game. However, the Bears are allowing the seventh-most receiving yards per game to running backs this season. The Bears will slow down the Lions receivers, which will force Stafford to check down to McKissic and allow him to be a FLEX option in PPR formats.

Emmanuel Sanders, WR, San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks

The San Francisco 49ers made a phenomenal move in acquiring Emmanuel Sanders from the Denver Broncos. Since he has joined the Niners, he has 11 catches on 14 targets in two games.

In a rare elite Monday Night Matchup, the San Francisco 49ers welcome in the Seattle Seahawks in what should be a great matchup of the Niners top-rated pass defense against Russell Wilson and the top-five rated Seahawks offense.

Fortunately for Sanders owners, the Seahawks defense allows the third-most yards to wide receivers. The Seahawks have fallen to 27th in defensive DVOA, so Sanders has a golden opportunity to build his Fantasy momentum in Week 10. Don’t hesitate to insert Sanders in your starting lineups this week.

DeVante Parker, WR, Miami Dolphins vs. Indianapolis Colts

Believe it or not, there is a Miami Dolphin player that Fantasy owners should get in their lineups in Week 10. DeVante Parker has been the butt of Fantasy jokes since he entered the league in 2015. The preseason hype surrounding Parker yearly has been overwhelming to realize that Parker never produces for Fantasy owners.

Somehow, so far, this season has been different for DeVante Parker. He has scored four times in his past five contests. Parker is the apple of Ryan Fitzpatrick‘s eye, as evident by him seeing 24 targets in his previous three games.

Look for the number of targets to increase with the season-ending injury to wide receiver Preston Williams. Shockingly, Parker is the go-to receiver for the Dolphins and has a team-high 12 deep targets.

Parker is finally Fantasy trustworthy and needs to be in your Fantasy lineup in Week 10.

Gerald Everett. TE, Los Angeles Rams vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Gerald Everett is your typical Fantasy tight end with his up-and-down weekly production. However, Fantasy owners should trust Everett in Week 10 in his matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers defense currently allows the ninth-most fantasy points to the tight end position this season.

The Rams will be without wideout Brandin Cooks which should result in an uptick in volume for the Rams tight end. Everett has surpassed ten targets twice in the past four weeks.

The increased looks and a favorable matchup should provide Fantasy owners with confidence in starting Everett in Week 10.

Sit

Kirk Cousins, QB, Minnesota Vikings vs. Dallas Cowboys

Fantasy owners are probably wondering why Cousins is in the Sit section. Cousins has been one of the hottest quarterbacks in the league for the past several weeks. However, those numbers were against weak defenses.

In Week 10, Cousins has a tough matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, who are sixth in the league in points allowed. Additionally, his favorite target Adam Thielen will sit out this game battling a hamstring injury.

The Vikings will look to pound the ball with Dalvin Cook against Dallas, which will limit Cousins and the Vikings passing game. No thanks!

Devonta Freeman, RB, Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints

Devonta Freeman has been a Fantasy disappointment this season. Freeman is averaging only 3.4 yards per carry and has not passed the eye test in 2019.

This week, the Atlanta Falcons take on the New Orleans Saints, who have only allowed three rushing touchdowns to running backs this season. Additionally, the Saints defense hasn’t allowed a 100-yard rusher as well.

In a daunting matchup and even with six teams on bye this week, I recommend that Freeman should be on benches in Week 10.

Joe Mixon, RB, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens

The Cincinnati Bengals are a mess. They have yet to win a game, and it won’t happen in Week 10. Mixon and his Fantasy owners are feeling the pain. Mixon has yet to have a 100-yard rushing game or a rushing touchdown.

The Ravens allow the second-fewest rushing yards per game at 83.0 yards per game, and the Bengals defense gives up yards and points like Oprah giving up cars. The Bengals won’t be running the ball much after they fall behind big to Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.

With the Bengals’ decision to start rookie quarterback Ryan Finley, the Bengals offense will be offensive, and Fantasy owners need to stay clear and far away.

JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Los Angeles Rams

JuJu Smith-Schuster has struggled without Big Ben and is galaxies away from the WR1 that Fantasy owners drafted him to be for the 2019 season.

This week, JuJu will match up against elite cover corner Jalen Ramsey. JuJu has disappeared for Fantasy owners by eclipsing the 16-yard mark just twice in the last five games.

Mason Rudolph is not even attempting to throw JuJu the ball as he only sees six targets per game. Avoid JuJu in Week 10.

Jimmy Graham, TE, Green Bay Packers vs. Carolina Panthers

Jimmy Graham was not Fantasy relevant while stud receiver Devante Adams was out during Weeks 5-8. Graham did not produce more than four catches during that period and scored only one touchdown. With Adams returning, there will be even fewer opportunities for Graham to succeed.

Graham and the Packers face the Carolina Panthers in Week 10, who have allowed only two touchdowns to tight ends this season.

If Graham is your only tight end for Week 10, first, my apologies. Secondly, there are better options. Check out the Waiver Wire for Fantasy owners to add and stream in Week 10.
