2019 Fantasy Football Week 10 Waiver Wire

on

The 2019 Fantasy Football Week 10 Waiver Wire is ugly, but nonetheless, here it is.

Coming off their first win of the NFL season, the Miami Dolphins had a rough Monday morning hangover.

First, they lost WR Preston Williams to a season-ending injury and then had their  RB, Mark Walton, suspended four games.

The 2019 Fantasy Football Week 10 Waiver Wire will try to focus on players owned in under 35% of Yahoo leagues.

Quarterbacks

Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans (18% owned)

Tannehill has looked alright replacing Marcus Mariota under center.

He has hovered right around 20 fantasy points for three straight weeks and gone up over 300 passing yards twice.

This is a one week rental against the Kansas City Chiefs if you need a QB in Week 10 before the Titans bye, in Week 11.

Sam Darnold, New York Jets (26%)

Darnold has not been great since returning from Mono, but this next stretch of games should be an opportunity to turn his season around.

Week 10 vs the Giants, Week 11 vs Raiders, Week 13 at Bengals, Week 14 vs Dolphins.

Running Backs

Ronald Jones, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (41%)

Slightly above our 35% threshold, but there is a good reason for this one:

Kalen Ballage, Miami Dolphins (10%)

It was the Mark Walton show for one week, and one week only!

Ballage saw seven carries in the Fins first win, while Ballage had 15 touches (three receptions).

Neither running back did much with their opportunities, but after trading Kenyan Drake to the Arizona Cardinals, the Dolphins are running out of options!

Wide Receivers

Zach Pascal, Indianapolis Colts (22%)

T.Y. Hilton missed Week 9 and will miss the next couple of games as well.

Pascal took advantage, even with Jacoby Brissett being knocked out the game, catching five passes for 76 yards and a touchdown.

Pascal has looked good when given an opportunity to play this season and will go up against the Miami Dolphins secondary in Week 10.

A.J. Brown, Tennessee Titans (19%)

With one game left before the Titans Week 11 bye, Brown could be a useful addition in Week 10 against the Chiefs.

He is a boom or bust option who has shown flashes of greatness but expectations should be limited.

Tight End

Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins (4%)

It’s about damn time the Dolphins started getting him involved!

With Preston Williams out for the season, you can fully expect the targets and yardage to be there for the rest of the season.

He caught all six of his targets for 95 yards against the Jets in Week 9.

Let’s just hope he can find the end zone!
