2019 Fantasy Football Week 2 Rankings

Week 1 is in the books. We hope you won, but if not don’t fret, it is a long season. Yes, it stinks to go 0-1, but trust me it is far from over for you. Time to start looking ahead with the 2019 Fantasy Football Week 2 Rankings.

As we look back on Week 1, we realize how crazy any given week can be. We saw many boom-bust players, go boom. Even ones that were likely unowned in many leagues such as Marquise Brown, Terry McLaurin and John Ross.

I’m personally in some crazy deep leagues, such as Scott Fish Bowl, where these types of players were not only owned, but started. Let’s just say we had some high scores.

2019 Fantasy Football Week 2 Rankings

Each week I will be giving some notes for things you will want to keep an eye on as the week progresses. It will be mostly injury-related, but anything that could affect the rankings, that we know about, will be mentioned. Then you can come back and review the rankings as lineup lock get closer.

  • Antonio Brown is now dealing with rape and sexual assault charges. Let’s hope they are false, but who knows at this point if he plays.
  • Greg Olsen is dealing with a back injury and is day to day.
  • Trey Burton missed Week 1 and is still listed as week to week.
  • Joe Mixon is dealing with an ankle sprain, but it sounds like he should be good to go.
  • Keke Coutee dealing with an ankle injury missed Week 1, still week to week.
  • Devin Funchess is on the IR after breaking his collarbone.
  • Nick Foles is out for the same reason as Funchess.
  • Tyreek Hill also injured his collarbone and is out 4-6 weeks
  • Mike Williams left Week 1 with a knee injury. His status is unknown at the time of writing this.
  • Sterling Shepard is in the concussion protocol and unlikely to play Week 2.
  • Tevin Coleman has the dreaded high ankle sprain and is out 2-6 weeks.
  • Derrius Guice is out indefinitely with a miniscus injury. Best case is he returns in a few weeks.

Brown isn’t dealing with charges. It’s a civil suit and in my non-legal opinion, it’s a joke.
