2019 NFL DFS Week 5 Stacks

on

Welcome back to the 2019 NFL DFS Week 5 stacks post. We can fully expect to see tons of chalky stacks across all the sites.

Week in and week out the Chiefs vs (enter opponent here) is the number one game to stack. However, they play the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football this week and are not part of the main slate!

In Week 5, the top stacks will likely come from the Houston Texans and Atlanta Falcons game. Marcus Mariota just torched the Falcons secondary so there is good reason to believe this could be the blow-up week for Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins.

This also feels like a great week to get low ownership on the Minnesota Vikings WRs in Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs against the New York Giants defense. But if Kirk Cousins takes down a GPP, does it even count?!

That is all well and good in cash games, but in order to take down a GPP, you will have to find some lesser owned stacks to propel you to to the top of the leaderboard.

Auden Tate
Tyler Eifert

Say what you will about both teams, this game has shootout written all over it!

Auden Tate has caught 10 of his 14 targets in the last two weeks and leads the team with 148 receiving yards. With John Ross out, we should see even more of the 6’5 receiver at a very low cost.

The Cardinals are the worst team in the NFL defending opposing tight ends and Eifert is dirt cheap.

With no Christian Kirk, Murray will have to rely heavily on DJ and Fitzy.

Every other team has been able to move the ball against the Saints, except for the Cowboys last week. DeAndre Hopkins (2 TD), Cooper Kupp and Tyler Lockett (TD) have all gone over 100 yards against New Orleans.

The Saints seemed to have turned into a ball-control offense since Teddy Bridgewater took over, but the Bucs are going to attack on each possession.

If you don’t like Marshon Lattimore shadowing Evans, just go with the since QB/WR stack of Winston/Godwin. It worked last week against Amari Cooper, but Nuk beat Lattimore for two scores.

New England Patriots

Tom Brady
Phillip Dorsett

The Patriots defense is on a historic pace through four weeks and now get to play the Washington Redskins. Colt McCoy is starting on Sunday.

Last week was the first time an opposing QB did not throw three touchdowns against Washington.

The Redskins have been burned by opposing deep threats and Dorsett leads the Pats in Air Yards (292) and aDOT (12.7). I can see Josh Gordon (265/9.8) blowing up this week too!
