2019 NFL DFS Week 6 Stacks

Welcome back to the 2019 NFL DFS Week 6 stacks post. We can fully expect to see tons of chalky stacks across all the sites.

This is going to be the smallest main slate we have had this season, with just 10 games. We have four teams on bye weeks and the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are playing early Sunday morning in London. That means no Christian McCaffrey this week!

Week in and week out the Chiefs vs (enter opponent here) is the number one game to stack. This week they host the Houston Texans. Quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson are both going to be heavily owned, along with their pass catchers.

That is all well and good in cash games, but in order to take down a GPP, you will have to find some lesser owned stacks to propel you to to the top of the leaderboard.

Austin Hooper

David Johnson might sit this one out, which would turn Edmonds into the most owned player this week. That’s ok.

Matt Ryan has had no choice but to put up monster numbers this season as the Falcons defense is terrible and Kyler Murray, despite the lack of touchdowns has been a top 10 QB this season.

We all know that Tyler Eifert failed to put up points against the leagues worst defense vs the tight end, but Hooper > Eifert.

If Todd Gurley does not play this week, everybody will be in all in on Brown. Brandin Cooks might be out this week too.

Right now the San Francisco 49ers are the hottest team in the NFL (that doesn’t start Tom Brady at QB) and the Los Angeles Rams have something to prove this week. The Niners lean heavily on their running backs and the Rams run defense should match up well here.

Also, San Fran is banged up on the offensive line.

Goff hasn’t been great this season and the 49ers pass defense ranks first in DVOA, which will make this a GPP winning, low owned stack! Don’t forget, they have played Jameis Winston, Andy Dalton, Mason Rudolph and Johnny Manziel Baker Mayfield. Not exactly the best offenses in the NFL right now.

As expected, Lamar Jackson is not throwing for multiple touchdown passes consistently. However, he is averaging 60 rushing yards over the last three weeks. The Bengals just saw Kyler Murray rush for 93 yards and a touchdown against them.

Cincy has the second-worst run defense, according to fantasy football points allowed. Matt Breida is the only RB to rush for 100+ yards, but Chris Carson ran for a caught a touchdown in Week 1, the 49ers scored three RB TDs in Week 2, the Bills rushed for over 100 yards and Frank Gore scored in Week 3, James Conner (1 TD) and Jaylen Samuels (1 TD) caught 16 passes in Week 4 and last week David Johnson and Chase Edmonds (1 TD) totaled 159 rushing yards and 83 receiving yards.

The Ravens defense has not been great but the Bengals offense has been even worse. Baltimore is favored by 12 points and the over/under is just 47.5 points which means Cincinnati has an implied total of just 18 points.
