2019 NFL DFS Week 9 Stacks

Welcome back to the 2019 NFL DFS Week 9 stacks post. We can fully expect to see tons of chalky stacks across all the sites.

We have four teams on bye this week, and an early morning London game. That leaves us with just a 10 game main slate.

With Patrick Mahomes listed as questionable, Vegas has Minnesota as 2.5 point road favorites! The over/under is set at 48 for the Chiefs/Vikings game, and we anticipate high ownership for Kirk Cousins, Dalvin Cook, Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs.

The Bucs at Seahawks is currently the highest over/under on the slate at 52.5 and we expect everybody to be all up in that game - Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, Chris Carson, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Tyler Lockett.

That is all well and good in cash games, but in order to take down a GPP, you will have to find some lesser owned stacks to propel you to to the top of the leaderboard.

Lions @ Raiders

Matthew Stafford
Derek Carr
Josh Jacobs
Kenny Golladay
Tyrell Williams
Marvin Jones
Danny Amendola
Darren Waller

Another week where you want to get a piece of the Lions aerial assault.

Stafford has seven touchdown passes in the last two weeks, on top of 706 passing yards!

Carr has been sacked just once in the last four games and has Tyrell Williams back to stretch the field. Even rookie WR Hunter Renfrow got involved last week!

Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers
Davante Adams
Marquez Valdes-Scantling

Don't be fooled by the Chargers vs Opposing QB stats. The last five QBs were Josh Rosen, Joe Flacco, Devlin Hodgers, Ryan Tannehill and Mitchell Trubisky.

Rodgers has looked really good in recent weeks and we are expecting him to get Davante Adams back this week.

Aaron Jones has had a couple of huge blowup games but has carried the ball 15+ times just twice all year long. He has been much more involved in the passing game recently but is largely touchdown dependent, as noted in DFSx42's NFL DFS Week 9 Chalk Talk. There is always the Jamaal Williams vulture threat too.

Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen
Devin Singletary
John Brown
Bills DST

Dwayne Haskins is making his first NFL start and his stats when he has played this season have looked very rookie-ish. He appears to be very turnover prone.

Frank Gore is still chugging along, but according to Dennis' Fantasy Football Week 9 Start-Sit article:

Future Hall of Famer Frank Gore has been starting for the Bills all season and has little upside and minimal impact in the passing game. Enter rookie running back Devin Singletary.

Last Sunday, Fantasy owners saw Singletary nearly triple the snaps Gore played in Week 8. Singletary was a weapon the passing game, catching four passes, including a touchdown.

The rookie back will continue to garner more touches, and that will make Fantasy owners happy in Week 9 as he faces the fifth-worst run defense in the Washington Redskins.

I view Singletary as a boom candidate this week against a weak Redskins defense and a running back to start Week 9."

Allen and Brown should continue to do their thing against a Washington secondary that ranks in the bottom 10 of pass defense, according to Football Outsiders DVOA.
