2020-21 Fantasy Basketball Rest of Season Rankings

Welcome to the 2020-21 Fantasy Basketball Rest of Season (RoS) Rankings.

The Houston Rockets finally found a trade package they liked to move James Harden. It required a couple of other teams to get involved but here are the details:

The Nets big three now features Harden, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving (if and when he decides to play basketball again).

There will be a lot of players impacted by this trade that are not listed above.

We have some questions to think about.

First, how will the Nets operate on offense?

Second, who will lead the Rockets offense – Oladipo, John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins?

Third, what will LeVert’s role be on the Pacers?

Lastly, how will the Cavs split minutes in a frontcourt that features Allen, Andre Drummond, Larry Nance, JaVale McGee and eventually (maybe?) Kevin Love?

All interesting thoughts that will work themselves out but I am sure Fantasy managers are driving themselves crazy over what to do with these players!

Injury Updates

  • Karl-Anthony Towns returned to the Wolves and played 34+ minutes and scoring 25 points in both games. He also added 13/14 rebounds and has now recorded a double-double in all four games he has played this season.
  • Kristaps Porzingis made his season debut with the Mavs and played 21 minutes. He scored 16 points and was 4-9 from downtown.
  • Russell Westbrook had a setback and is now expected to miss 3-4 weeks for the Wizards
  • Bogdan Bogdanovic will miss a couple of weeks for the Hawks with a knee injury
  • Lou Williams (hip) was limited to just nine minutes in the Clippers last contest
  • Washington lost Thomas Bryant for the season to an ACL injury
  • Michael Porter Jr. continues to miss time due to COVID and has not played for the Nuggets in 2021
  • Kemba Walker is not “quite yet” ready to return to the Celtics lineup

COVID-19 continues to postpone games. Let’s hope the NBA does not have to pause the season again!

Please note that in the FantasyPros widget below, the right-hand column is not the player’s change in ranking from the previous update.

It is my ranking vs the expert consensus ranking (ECR).

So by me ranking Anthony Davis number one overall, he is ranked two spots (+2) higher than the ECR, where he currently ranks third.
