2021-22 Fantasy Basketball Drop List Week 19

Welcome everyone to the 2020-21 Fantasy Basketball Week 10 Drop List.

The trade deadline is right around the corner and the rumors are heating up, almost to a scorching degree. Some of these trades are worth monitoring because they could have a serious impact on fantasy teams moving forward. Make sure you pay attention to the trade news, some players could gain significant fantasy value while others lose their value.

As always I will highlight a few players that should be dropped from fantasy teams along with providing a few players in the danger zone. These players should be monitored in the coming weeks. So without further ado, welcome to the 2020-21 Fantasy Basketball Week 10 Drop List.

2020-21 Fantasy Basketball Week 10 Drop List

Derrick Rose, PG/SG, New York Knicks - 55% rostered in Yahoo Leagues

Current Ranking: 226

Well, I thought Derrick Rose was going to succeed in New York but as of right now that is not happening. I should have known since Quickley and Payton deserve at least double-digit minutes and Alec Burks won't be going away anytime soon.

Honestly, I don't want anything to do with Derrick Rose, Alec Burks, Immanuel Quickley, or Elfrid Payton in fantasy leagues. There is no way to tell which way the minutes will go so it is best if you just drop them all until we see a significant minute change.

By the way, Derrick Rose is struggling shooting the ball this past week(19%) and only averaging 5.3 points a game. He doesn't do much for category leagues(2.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.3 blocks). Let him chill on the waiver wire until he shows improvement or you can just let someone else deal with those headaches.

Eric Bledsoe, PG/SG, New Orleans Pelicans - 76% rostered in Yahoo Leagues

Current Ranking: 172

I'm sorry Eric Bledsoe fans but he should not be rostered this high in fantasy. He currently sits as the 172nd ranked player and this past month he was as low as #239. With him being absolutely terrible this past week(ranked #166) there is no reason to have Bledsoe on your team right now.

It gets worse for Eric Bledsoe. He is starting to lose minutes to rookie PG Kira Lewis Jr.

In his last 10 games, Bledsoe has reached 30 minutes only three times. His last four games, he has averaged 26 minutes or less with 9.2 points per game and only 3.0 assists.

If you are in category leagues he is literally doing nothing for you (3.3 rebounds, 0.7 steals, and 0.3 blocks). With an absolutely abysmal free throw percentage for a guard (64%) he is actually hurting your team. Now would be the time to drop him or if you are lucky you can trade him.

Danilo Gallinari, SF/PF, Atlanta Hawks - 56% rostered in Yahoo Leagues

Current Ranking: 291

Danilo Gallinari finds himself back on the drop list.

Why is he at 56%? He is currently ranked 291. I'm going to assume people were hopeful he would return from injury and perform well in this shooting-happy offense.

This couldn't be any more wrong. Gallinari is constantly competing for minutes (20 minutes per game) and is struggling shooting the ball (37%) which is causing his playing time to diminish.

Danilo Gallinari does not add much in category leagues (3 rebounds a game, 1.3 assists, 0.3 steals, and 0.1 blocks) so get him off your fantasy teams.

*Now I said I would never put injured players on here but some of their roster percentages are just way too high to ignore. Please get these guys off your teams.*

T.J. Warren, SF/PF, Indiana Pacers - 64% rostered in Yahoo Leagues

Injury- Foot(No timetable)
Coach Bjorkgren said it could be another month. If that is the case, T.J. Warren is just wasting away a roster spot for you.

Paul Millsap, PF/C, Denver Nuggets - 35% rostered in Yahoo Leagues

Injury- Knee Sprain(Week +?)

Paul Millsap is a few weeks from return still. Even when he gets back he will be competing for minutes with JaMychal Green and possibly even Michael Porter Jr. You don't need him rostered on your teams right now.

Danger Zone

These are players to monitor.

Kevin Huerter, SG/SF, Atlanta Hawks - 60% rostered in Yahoo Leagues

Current Ranking: 85

In the past month, Huerter is ranked 146. 153 in the past two weeks, and 197 this past week.

He has been getting worse and worse every week it seems like and that is evident by his shooting. Huerter is shooting only 43% on the season but it gets worse as of lately (35% in the last week). He has failed to score more than 10 points in four of his last six games.

He is constantly playing over 30 minutes and his shooting might come around. That is the only reason why he is not on the drop list. Keep an eye out on him.

That should do it for the 2020-21 Fantasy Basketball Week 10 Drop List. I will see you all next week.
