Welcome to the 2020-21 Fantasy Basketball Week 18 Drop List. As always in this article, I will be going over a few players you need to drop from your fantasy teams, asap.

I will not be doing a danger zone section this week. We are getting close to the end of the season, so we don't have time to be playing around with players that aren't performing.

If you are fighting for a playoff spot, please pay attention to the players you have on your team. Get rid of the injured players that won't be back in time, get rid of the underperformers, and pick up some of these young studs that are killing it (Isaiah Stewart, Detroit Pistons).

If you are already looking good for the playoffs, you can do some fine-tuning to your team. The purpose of this introduction was to get you to get rid of the weaklings on your team.

So without further ado, welcome to the 2020-21 Fantasy Basketball Week 18 Drop List.

2020-21 Fantasy Basketball Week 18 Drop List

Evan Fournier, SG/SF, Boston Celtics - 60% rostered in Yahoo Leagues
Current Ranking: 226

Evan Fournier just came back from a long bout with the covid. He missed nine games. Since coming back from the covid list, Fournier has averaged 21 minutes, 1.5 points on 0% shooting. Yes! I said that. 0% shooting since coming back from covid. His only points scored were two free throws.

You would think he would try and contribute in other ways, but that is not the case. Fournier is only averaging 2.5 rebounds and 3 assists since coming back. Now is not the time to be playing around with underperformers, please drop him from your fantasy teams.

Hassan Whiteside, PF/C, Sacramento Kings - 54% rostered in Yahoo Leagues
Current Ranking: 280

Hassan Whiteside has been absolutely brutal this season. Whiteside is only averaging 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks on the year. This is not good for a seven-foot big man. His minutes have gone down from the mid-'20s to the low 10's and that is because Richaun Holmes is back in the lineup.

With Holmes coming back, Whiteside was a DNP the last game. Now would be a great time to get rid of Hassan Whiteside. You don't want him on your team going into the playoffs.

Aaron Gordon, SF/PF, Denver Nuggets - 77% rostered in Yahoo Leagues
Current Ranking: 207

Since being traded to the Nuggets, Aaron Gordon has been losing fantasy value by the week. He is averaging two fewer shots with the Nuggets along with three fewer points, and one less rebound. In this past week, Aaron Gordon is struggling from the field (39%) and just struggling in general. In the past week, he is averaging 9.5 points and 5.6 rebounds.

Aaron Gordon has failed to score 10 or more points in 3 of his last 5 games. He has also failed to score over 10 points in 6 of the last 10 games. I'm not saying get rid of him right now, but if there is anyone worth the danger zone, it is Aaron Gordon. Just be cautious of him and see what he does this next week.

Goran Dragic, PG/SG, Miami Heat - 49% rostered in Yahoo Leagues
Current Ranking: 256

Now is not the time to be holding onto players that can't stay healthy. A perfect example of this is Goran Dragic. When healthy, Dragic is a really good player and can help your fantasy team tremendously. That is the thing though, he has to stay healthy and he just can't do that.

He has only played in 40 games this year so far. His minutes are going down, Kendrick Nunn is thriving right now, and honestly outplaying him. He isn't a bad fantasy player at all, but the big thing is he is often injured so it's best to put him on the waiver wire.

That should do it for the 2020-21 Fantasy Basketball Week 18 Drop List. I will see you all next week for Week 19.
