2020-21 NFL Standings Predictions

2020-21 NFL Standings Predictions

By picking the winner of every NFL game this season, we "accurately" predict the final standings to determine which teams will make the 2020-21 NFL Playoffs by winning their division and who will earn a Wild Card berth.

I say "accurately" because picking the winners in any given week is nearly impossible, let alone the entire season before the season even kicks off. However, this is a much better way than just randomly saying the Kansas City Chiefs will win 14 games.

By picking the 14 teams they will defeat, those other teams already start with one or two (Broncos, Chargers, Raiders) losses.

Together with seven other F6P writers, we each individually went through all 256 games to pick winners and losers and created our own standings. We then merged them together to get the following playoff picture:

  • Chiefs bye
  • Bills vs Broncos
  • Titans vs Steelers
  • Ravens bye
  • Saints bye
  • Cowboys* vs Seahawks/Cardinals (both with 11 wins/split head-to-head)
  • Packers vs Buccaneers
  • 49ers* bye

*49ers and Cowboys are both projected to win 12 games

We polled our entire staff and based on our hand-picked NFL Playoffs picture predict a Kansas City Chiefs vs New Orleans Saints Super Bowl LV! It just so happens to be the same matchup we predicted last season.

Wouldn't it be something though if Tom Brady is able to lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to play in Super Bowl LV at their home stadium?!
