2021 NFL Draft Jaylen Waddle Profile

Welcome to the 2020 Fantasy Football Devy Review - Volume 3. This will be a bi-weekly focus on two or three Devy players at each position and key performances.

With this collegiate year being as whacky as it has been, we will be doing bi-weekly reviews on the college season and touch on the key performers.

This week touches on a few known commodities in the devy community, but it keys in on the outstanding performance by the Alabama Crimson Tide this week.

For those not familiar with Devy leagues, take a look back at the Quarterback, Running Backs, and Wide Receivers/Tight End Devy Rankings for a bit of an explanation to the leagues.

Dillon Gabriel, UCF Knights

Only a sophomore, Gabriel is lighting up his oppositions.

His latest victim, the Tigers, were shredded by Gabriel for 601 yards and five TDs. He also managed to rush for another touchdown and totaled 49 yards on the ground.

Not only is Gabriel opening the scouts' eyes around the nation, but with his stats (1,756 yards, 14 TDs), he is creeping into the Heisman conversation.

Mac Jones, Alabama Crimson Tide

In his first full season as a starter, Jones is off to a terrific start at Alabama. He leads the nation in QBR (96.6) and has a terrific TD to INT ratio (12:2).

He led the Tide to an impressive victory on Saturday against a stout Georgia team. Georgia had no answer for Jones, allowing to throw for 417 yards with four touchdowns.

With more games like this, his draft stock will continue to rise.

Najee Harris, Alabama Crimson Tide

Harris is a stud, there is no denying that.

He ran all over one of the best defenses in the nation on Saturday, to the tune of 152 yards and a touchdown.

Harris has totaled 11 touchdowns on the season, good for tops in the nation. If he was not the RB1 of the upcoming draft before the Georgia game, he should be now.

Javonte Williams, North Carolina Tar Heels

Williams may not be on many devy lists, but he has put together two back to back solid weeks.

He has totaled 288 yards and three touchdowns against Virginia Tech and Florida State. What is most impressive about it is the 7.5 yards per carry in that span.

The Tar Heels has a high powered offense in which Sam Howel gets most of the press about, but Williams is starting to come into his own and is someone to keep an eye on.

Wide Receivers and Tight Ends

Jaelon Darden WR, North Texas Mean Green

It is time we all get to know the name Jaelon Darden.

This man currently leads the nation in yards (689), receptions (46), and touchdowns (10) for a wide receiver.

He has double-digit receptions and has been over 100 yards in each of his last three games.

Playing at North Texas, he will not get the media love like some of his other WR counterparts, but he is a name to stash away.

Devonta Smith WR, Alabama Crimson Tide

Alabama continues to become a hotbed for wide receivers.

The senior WR came on late last season with the departure of Henry Ruggs & Jerry Jeudy is continuing to shine at Alabama.

Smith was looked at often by Jones and caught 11 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns.

He is easily in the conversation as one of the top wide receivers to be selected in the 2020 NFL Draft.
