Way Too Early 2020 Fantasy Football Rankings

on

Welcome to my way too early 2020 Fantasy Football Rankings.

The NFL Playoffs are in full swing and they are going exactly as everybody expected. Saints lost in the Wild Card Round. Titans are in the AFC Championship knocking off the Patriots and heavily favored Ravens. Yup… exactly as we thought they would play out.

I’ve decided to take this time to present to you my 2020 Fantasy Football Rankings, yes the way too early variety. Keep in mind before the actual 2020 season, these rankings are going to change… change a lot. These do not have Rookies. Rookies will be added after landing spots have been decided. However, my top-5 rookies before the NFL draft are…

  1. Jonathan Taylor
  2. J.K. Dobbins
  3. D’Andre Swift
  4. Jerry Jeudy
  5. CeeDee Lamb

Joe Burrow was amazing in college and I have no doubt he will be good in the pros. However, the same rules apply to rookies that I apply to the rest of my rankings, that being quarterbacks will be ranked lower due to their being so many you can use. I would much rather load up on the RB and WR in this draft first.

These rankings are also before free agency. There will be a lot of movement this offseason as always. Some big names that are free agents are:

Where these players land will have an effect on their 2020 value, but also the other players on the teams they sign with and leave. In the case of Drew Brees and Tom Brady, if they retire then the entire offense of the Saints and Patriots take major steps back. Yes, Teddy Bridgewater did well when he filled in this past season, but I don’t think anybody is going to confuse him for Brees.
