Injuries To Monitor:

Early Week Injury Breakdown:

Today we’ll just take a quick look at the injuries from the defensive side around the league. Check back in later in the week for my full IDP Round-Up from injuries around the league.

Every week I dive into the practice reports of each team and look at the likelihood of each player suiting up on game day. I also give some back up options that could be available on the Waiver Wire as an emergency backup option if you’re in need. Check out my Week 9 IDP Injury Round-Up for reference!

Dante Fowler, DL/LB, Atlanta Falcons

Fowler missed every practice last week and was quickly ruled out before the weekend hit, which leads me to believe that this may be a long lasting injury. Listed as an IDP Drop List option in my Week 9 IDP Waiver Wire for his lack of production, and now coupled with this injury just makes him easier to drop for me.

Calais Campbell, DL, Baltimore Ravens

Campbell is a player I’ve been pretty close to adding to my IDP Drop List as we come down to the end of the season. However, his production has been just enough to keep me interested. Now factor in this injury that is likely to keep him sidelined a few weeks, I couldn’t fault anyone for dropping him to make space.

Matt Milano, LB, Buffalo Bills

As mentioned in my Week 10 IDP Waiver Wire, Matt Milano has shifted to the IR, leaving A.J. Klein to eat up reps at LB. Add him in your leagues. Trust me. He is the back up to own here, not Andre Smith.

Jeremy Chinn, DB, Carolina Panthers

Jeremy Chinn being marked out at game time lost me a league this week. I was surprised to see him sit after logging multiple practices in limited fashion. However, if he can manage a full practice heading into Week 10 I like his chances to play.

Myles Garrett, DE, Cleveland Browns

Myles Garrett’s knee injury is pretty scary. It’s listed he was able to practice Monday which bodes well for this weekend. My worry comes down to if he’ll be 100%. I’ll have to see his practice participation throughout the week!

Tracy Walker, DB, Detroit Lions

Walker missed last week with a foot injury. He missed practice all week so I’m not very confident in his chances to play this week.

Joey Bosa, DE, Los Angeles Chargers

Bosa missed last week with a concussion but has been dealing with a slew of other injuries throughout the year. If he can clear the concussion protocol I like his chances to play. I’m just not confident he’ll be full go this week, or at any point for the rest of this season.

Jordan Fuller, DB, Los Angeles Rams

I’m interested to see how the situation plays out between Fuller and Taylor Rapp once Fuller is removed from the IR. After taking Rapp’s starting spot in camp, does Fuller take a back seat? Does he take his starting spot back? If so, Taylor Rapp becomes drop worthy for me in season long; but a strong hold in Dynasty.

Ja’Whaun Bentley, LB, New England Patriots

The cursed groin injury strikes again forcing Bentley to miss time. Hopefully you were able to grab an option to fill his place before the Sunday set of games. A.J. Klein in his place would’ve been a smash call if you made it, as referenced I in my Week 9 IDP Injury Round-Up.

Be sure to check in later this week for my Week 10 IDP Injury Round-Up! I truly feel it’s one of the most valuable pieces of content I put out on a weekly basis! I put a lot of time into it for y’all! Check out out every Saturday Morning!
