Note: I'll be covering every player I deem notable. If they're not mentioned it's safe to assume they can be sat, unless it's a very deep league. Corners will be seldom mentioned, as they're usually not very notable outside of a few.

Houston Texans Vs Detroit Lions (Thursday)

Zach Cunningham doesn't have a great matchup this week but you can't sit him. He's one of the best scoring IDP LBs in the league. It's also unlikely you have a better option.

Tyrell Adams is more of a matchup dependent option (the LB2 on the defense usually is), and his matchup this week isn't great. I'd sit him if you have a better option, which it's likely you do. However, if needed he can be flexed with tempered expectations.

"J.J. Watt a sit? What???" A few years back I'd be laughed out of the IDP community. Watt just isn't what he used to be. Coupled with the fact the Detroit offense is a terrible matchup for IDP scoring as a whole, Watt is an easy sit this week.

Justin Reid has been somewhat of a disappointment this season. He's shown flashes but hasn't really popped off like I'd hoped. Detroit is one of the worst matchups for IDP DB scoring and Reid should be sat if you have better options.

Houston doesn't offer much either in terms of great IDP matchups. They are, in fact, the worst matchup for the IDP LB position. If you have other options than Collins, I'd give them a shot.

Tracy Walker has yet to see a full assortment of snaps since his return from injury. Quite disappointing from a DB who was primed for a breakout coming into the season.

Duron Harmon has been the only start worthy DB from this defense since he's been seeing all the snaps. However, Houston offers one of the worst matchups for the DB position.

Romeo Okwara draws the only favorable matchup that the Houston offense offers. Which honestly, isn't even that great. It leans more neutral than favorable. However, anyone who's followed me knows I'm a huge Okwara fan. I think he eats early this Thanksgiving and steals the show.

Washington Football Team Vs Dallas Cowboys (Thursday)

Kamren Curl has filled in admirably for Landon Collins. However, he faces a tough matchup against a team that hasn't been favorable towards DBs.

Jon Bostic will be faced with the tough task of tackling Zeke Elliot all day. We all know he loves to eat on Thanksgiving. Bostic in a great matchup is an easy start for me.

Sweat and Young are looking at one of the best matchups for their position. Dallas' Offensive Line just hasn't been able to stop opposing DLs. These two could steal the show and really leave their mark on Thanksgiving Day.

Dallas offers one of the best IDP units in all of IDP Fantasy Football. It should come as no surprise that you're starting all of these guys.

Smith and Vander-Esch are one of the best LB duos in all of football, they have a decent matchup this weekend, and it's not like you're going to sit them anyway.

The Washington Football Team offers one of the best matchups for IDP DLs in the league. Lawrence is a must start in a great matchup. However, Smith has left us pretty disappointed since the early weeks of the season, but he's tough to sit in this matchup.

Baltimore Ravens Vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh offers a very favorable matchup to the DB position so I really like Chuck Clark this week. Humphrey is one of the few corners in the league I don't mind rostering. He's a sure tackler and does a lot of work all over the field.

Patrick Queen draws a favorable matchup as well this week at LB. He's been a stud in his rookie season, and looks to show up in primetime where the Ravens are in dire need of a win.

Calais Campbell is likely out, but in a tough matchup with how he's performed this season he's an easy sit for me.

Ngakoue has provided a bit of a spark to the Baltimore pass rush, however he draws a tough matchup this week against Pittsburgh. Without a sack, he'll likely leave you wanting a lot more.

There are a lot of Steelers to go through. Fitzpatrick is an easy start. Where he doesn't have a great matchup, he offers so much with his playmaking. Edmunds doesn't offer a lot with tackling or playmaking, which makes him an easy sit for me.

Spillane and Williams draw a great matchup, however it's tough to tell which guy will gain most of the opportunities on a weekly basis. Not ideal starters for me this week, but if you're in a pinch I couldn't blame you.

This Watt is the only Watt worth starting today, and the only DL worth starting from this offensive line. Heyward has been disappointing all season, and Tuitt is usually matchup dependent.

Los Angeles Chargers Vs Buffalo Bills

Jenkins and Adderly find themselves in tough matchups this week. They've been pretty inconsistent and rarely show up outside of an ideal matchup.

Kenneth Murray is working his way back into the rotation after being benched for performance. He hasn't seen full snaps since he was benched.

News flash, Denzel Perryman still isn't good. Right now he's a placeholder for Murray, but he's still not gonna score you points in a tough matchup.

Joey Bosa draws another good matchup this week. However, he's been a frequent disappointment this season. Whether by unavailability due to injury or poor performance, it's been a tough year to roster Bosa. Hopefully, he can exploit a great matchup and flash his DL1 overall potential.

Cut Melvin Ingram. You're welcome.

Jordan Poyer has a great chance of finishing as the DB1 this week as he draws the best matchup for DBs. He's a stud, no doubt starter.

Micah Hyde is a DB sure, but he's just not one that stuffs the stat sheet. He's more of an on field asset, and less of a Fantasy asset.

Tremaine Edmunds and A.J. Klein draw a great matchup this week and are must starts. A.J. Klein will likely finish ahead of Edmunds in scoring.

Ed Oliver just hasn't taken the next step this season. Buffalo doesn't offer much for reliable pass rushers.

Tennessee Titans Vs Indianapolis Colts

Kevin Byard hasn't had a great IDP year thus far but he's still a top safety in the league. Luckily, he draws a great matchup against Indy so hopefully he can remind some folks of that this week.

The linebackers in this game draw a neutral matchup. I'm not rushing to start Compton in his first start in Jayon Brown's place. Evans will likely have an okay game and he'll have to carry a lot of the weight in that linebacker room.

Jeffery Simmons has shown signs of things to come with flashes of brilliance in his sophomore season, however he faces one of the worst matchups at the position in Indy. Harold Landry has been having a great year as well, however he draws the same tough matchup.

Willis and Blackmon could be the DB tandem of the future going forward in Indy. They both make plays, they're both sure tacklers. This isn't a great matchup for them, but they're both playmakers and are worth playing if you need them.

This is a pretty neutral offense towards linebackers, however you can't sit Leonard. Even though he's having a down year compared to last year, we all know what he's capable of. Okereke has really come on this season and has even supplanted Anthony Walker as the starter alongside of Leonard.

Tennessee offers one of the hardest matchups against DLs. Buckner as a DT often doesn't stuff the stat sheet in Fantasy, and Houston has let us down this season, after seemingly reviving his career in Indy. Easy bench or even cut for me.

Carolina Panthers Vs Minnesota Vikings

Jeremy Chinn is my IDP Rookie of the Year and y'all can fight me. He was my rookie DB1 and he hasn't disappointed me. He has a great matchup this week and he's a smash start for me.

Shaq Thompson has had an okay season trying to fill the shoes left by Luke Keuchly. However, those that expected a 1-for-1 replacement have been sorely disappointed. He's a three down LB with a tough matchup. I'd bench him if I had better options.

Brian Burns has really came into his own this season despite having injuries throughout the year. He has a tough matchup but I'm willing to flex him this weekend.

Yetur Gross-Matos will be a great player in this league, I'm just expecting that next season. He has a tough matchup this weekend. Must sit for me.

Harrison Smith faces a tough matchup against Carolina. He's also a player who's coming out of his prime. Between those things he's an easy sit for me.

The linebacker position has a tough matchup as well this week which is why I'm avoiding Wilson this week. However, you gotta start Kendricks. He's been having a year.

Carolina doesn't offer much for favorable matchups to the defense. So it shouldn't be a surprise that they don't favor the DL spot either. Wonnum is an emerging talent, and I don't believe it will be long before he surpasses Odenigbo and pairs up with Hunter next season as the premiere pass rushing duo in Minnesota.

Jacksonville Jaguars Vs Cleveland Browns

Daniel Thomas has slowly been coming along as a decent DB, however he's now set to miss considerable time. 2021 could be a big year to roster Daniel Thomas.

These linebackers are weekly starters. Cleveland offers a solid matchup to boot.

With Josh Allen out, this defensive line unit leaves a lot to be desired. In a tough matchup, I'll pass.

With Harrison looking at missing time, the valuable DB position is up in the air. In a tough matchup, I'll pass on the situation this week.

Goodson has been a solid LB this season. In a tough matchup he's worth a look in the flex. However, I'd prefer to bench him all together.

With Myles Garrett set to miss another game on the COVID-IR, Vernon will be looked to to create most of the pass rush for this defense. He did it last week against Philly, and has a similar matchup this weekend vs Jacksonville.

New York Giants Vs Cincinnati Bengals

Peppers has been on quite the tear after a slow start to the season. He battled injuries early and tried to play through them as opposed to taking time out to get fully healthy. However he seems like a weekly DB1 now. Logan Ryan likely needs a pick to be super relevant, however with Ryan Finley now under center for the Bengals I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen.

Blake Martinez is an obvious start in a great matchup to boot.

Kyler Fackrell and Leonard Williams get a great matchup and will likely be able to attack Finley early and often this Sunday.

Jessie Bates has proven to be the DB to roster on the Bengals, while Vonn Bell has disappointed.

I don't want anything to do with the LB situation here. I sincerely hope they finish poorly enough to draft Micah Parsons. That, or get Penei Sewell and help that offensive line not kill their franchise QB.

Lawson and Hubbard draw a decent matchup this weekend. However, Lawson has proven inconsistent and Hubbard hasn't shown signs of returning to his 2019 form. Lawson is okay to start, but I'd temper expectations.
