Stream Team DLs

Olivier Vernon, Cleveland Browns

Olivier Vernon has been a hot streamer down the stretch. He gets to square off against a pretty poor offensive line and Daniel Jones who is very free with the football and allows a lot of turnovers.

The Giants allow the third-most sacks per game, so there will be plenty of opportunity for Vernon to get to DJ.

Shaq Barrett, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Barrett has been somewhat inconsistent this season after what was a career year in 2019, however, he draws a great matchup this week.

Atlanta runs the fourth-most plays per game in the league and is top 10 in sacks allowed which will leave a bevy of opportunity for “Sack” Barrett to make some noise again.

Ifeadi Odenigbo, Minnesota Vikings

Odenigbo has been tasked with filling in the void left by Danielle Hunter. While somewhat inconsistent he’s been able to thrive in good matchups.

This week he draws the Chicago Bears and Mitch Trubisky. I expect Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer to have Trubisky’s number, and expose the QB early and often.

Justin Houston, Indianapolis Colts

Justin Houston is a dice roll. Last year he seemed to have a spark that he hadn’t had since his prime in Kansas City. However, this year for the most part has been a disappointment.

This week he draws one of the best matchups for a DL against the Houston Texans. They have the eighth highest pass to run rate, fifth-most sacks allowed, and Deshaun Watson has the tenth-highest time to throw stat in the league. This all points to Justin Houston having time and opportunity this weekend.

Stream Team DBs

Kamren Curl, Washington Football Team

Curl still isn’t getting the respect he deserves. I’m still seeing him available on waivers AND people wondering whether or not to start him.

You start him until he doesn’t perform at all. He draws a solid matchup against Seattle this week. This should be a no brainer, but don’t be afraid to roll with Curl.

Tashaun Gipson, Chicago Bears

Gipson draws a great matchup this week against the Minnesota Vikings. They hold the fifth-highest run to pass rate, and when they do pass they hold the fourth-highest yards per pass attempt in the league.

This keeps the safety in play and frequently involved not only in run defense but also pass coverage.

Eric Murray, Houston Texans

With Justin Reid out Murray will likely be asked to take on more responsibility going forward. Coupled with that he’s also been quietly having a pretty good season.

Indianapolis runs the ninth most plays per game in the league while Houston runs the fourth-most defensive plays per game. On top of that, the Colts have a high run to pass rate and a high yards per pass attempt which keeps the DB involved.

Stream Team LBs

Neville Hewitt & Harvey Langi, New York Jets

Here’s a couple of guys who draw a great matchup against the Los Angeles Rams this week. With the Rams high run to pass rate and high plays per game, coupled with the Jets second-highest plays per game on defense. This will lend a bevy of opportunity to both of these guys.

Jerome Baker/Elandon Roberts, Miami Dolphins

This one boils down to if Elandon Roberts plays or not. If Roberts is in, start him and sit Baker. Roberts has been drawing most of the snaps as of late and he’s their big run stopper.

New England holds the second-highest run to pass rate in the league. This will make whoever the starting LB is a smash start this week.
