Stream Team DLs

Robert Quinn, Chicago Bears

Robert Quinn hasn’t been the most reliable asset over the course of the season, but as of late he’s seemed to have found new life.

He draws a matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars who allowed Gardner Minshew to be sacked six times last week. With most of the focus being lent to Khalil Mack and Akiem Hicks, Quinn should be left to his own devices.

Carl Lawson, Cincinnati Bengals

Speaking of inconsistent, Carl Lawson might be the definition. He’s managed to create pressure this season but has failed to get home to opposing quarterbacks.

This past week he was able to work Steelers Left Tackle Alejandro Villanueva like a chump. While he only managed one sack, it’s likely due to Big Ben’s league-low time to throw.

This week he faces a much worse offensive line and Deshaun Watson who has one of the higher time to throw stats. I’m not gonna say he’s a smash start, but you could do worse.

Aldon Smith, Dallas Cowboys

Like most DLs Aldon Smith has been inconsistent as well. However he’s showing signs of life again, and this week he draws a matchup against Jalen Hurts and the Eagles.

Two weeks ago against the Saints, the Eagles managed to give up ZERO sacks. This past week they proved that they are still a team that’s going to give up sacks, yielding six to the Arizona Cardinals.

Stream Team DBs

Kareem Jackson, Denver Broncos

While he was almost a stream teamer last week, he got the call this week.

Jackson draws a divisional matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers who provide a favorable matchup to the DB position.

Adrian Amos, Green Bay Packers

This one is easy. Lord knows that the Green Bay linebackers won’t be able to stop Derrick Henry with any consistency. Thus forcing their safeties to make plays downfield.

Amos is the safety that’s most likely to pitch in with tackling. Savage’s size will limit his ability to tackle Henry and make it more likely that he’ll be the focus of the next Derrick Henry stiff-arm meme.

Kenny Vaccaro/Amani Hooker, Tennessee Titans

Kenny Vaccaro is questionable, so fire up Hooker if he’s out.

The Packers are a great matchup for safeties. Their high run to pass rate, as well as their high yards per pass attempt statistic, keep the DB heavily involved.

Stream Team LBs

Neville Hewitt, New York Jets

Hewitt has yet to get the respect he deserves. He shouldn’t be available to stream yet it’s likely he is.

Squaring up against the Cleveland Browns, someone’s gotta stop Nick Chubb.

Elandon Roberts, Miami Dolphins

Roberts has become a stellar factor in run stopping down in Miami. He draws the Raiders this week which are a fine matchup.

Their high run to pass rate is great for keeping linebackers involved.

Nick Kwiatkoski, Las Vegas Raiders

I hope everyone enjoyed dropping Cory Littleton this week as I did. Nick Kwiatkoski is the LB to roster in Las Vegas as of now.

Perhaps that changes with a new defensive coordinator at some point. But maybe Littleton just isn’t that good? Either way, Kwiatkoski has proven himself, and in a matchup with the Dolphins who hold a high run to pass rate, and a low yards per pass attempt, this keeps LBs frequently involved and around the ball.
