2020 Fantasy Football Week 5 IDP Rankings

We’re a quarter of the way through the Fantasy Season! Maybe your season didn’t start off how you hoped, or maybe you’re off to a great start! Either way I’m here with my 2020 Fantasy Football Week 5 IDP Rankings!

Each week deciding who starts and who sits can ultimately determine if you win your week or not. Sure, you’re always gonna start your studs, LB1s, DB1s, etc. However, after you get past the obvious starters it’s not always easy to make that decision. I’m here to help make those choices easier with my Weekly IDP Rankings!

There’s four big names that draw my attention in that bunch: Leonard, Baker, Adams, and Young. All of them are Top 5-10 at their respective positions on a weekly basis. However, the weeks don’t stop coming because players are injured, and you will need a game plan to fill their starting spot if they’re out.

If Leonard misses this week his teammate Anthony Walker(LB) will slot in to start in his place. Walker made several starts in relief of Leonard last year and was a Top 10 Linebacker in each of those starts. On top of that Walker relieved Leonard this past Sunday. Walker also holds additional value in that he will take over in Okereke’s role if he’s set to miss time.

If Baker misses another week Deionte Thompson (S), who filled in for Baker this week, is a solid start if you need someone to fill in for a week.

I’d hate to see Adams miss another week because he’s been an absolute stud to start the year. That and my Fantasy teams need him. There really isn’t a great 1-for-1 replacement for Adams, but I’d give Bobby Wagner a boost if Adams sits another week.

Should Young miss another week the rest of the Washington defensive line gets a downgrade from me. Washington only managed one sack on the day. Albeit against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offensive line, but I imagine his impact on the field would’ve led to that defense being a little more competitive.
