Welcome all to the 2020 Fantasy Football Week 6 Injury Impact article.

I keep hoping one of these weeks that I won't have to put any major star names into this article. Unfortunately, this will not be one of those weeks as we saw the downfall of quite a few fantasy stars. Most of these could end up being minor injuries, but it's best to be safe and check out the rest of the article to check out the impact of these injuries.

So fantasy readers let dive right into the 2020 Fantasy Football Week 6 Injury Impact article.

Miles Sanders, RB, Philadelphia Eagles - Knee (TBD)

Miles Sanders was having a terrific day rushing for 118 yards on nine carries. Unfortunately, he exited Sunday's game with a knee injury. Miles Sanders will get an MRI Monday and the latest news is that there is a concern with the injury. Miles Sanders definitely won't be playing Thursday night.

In his place, the main rusher was QB Carson Wentz. Wait, what? Yes, Carson Wentz led the team in carries and yards behind Miles Sanders. I don't expect this to happen in the future obviously. Look for Boston Scott to get most of the work on the ground now. If he is on the waiver wire it would be a good idea to pick him up.

Zach Ertz, TE, Philadelphia Eagles - Ankle (TBD)

Struggling superstar TE Zach Ertz was ruled out of Sunday's game after catching a measly four balls for 33 yards. Nobody really knows what is going on with Ertz this year, but he has now found himself right in the middle of trade talks, especially since it looks like they don't want to pay him.

Anyways back to the injury, Ertz will be having an MRI on Monday along with Sanders. It looks like Ertz could have just gotten a minor injury, but it is still something to monitor. It looks like Jason Croom is going to be the starting TE if Zach Ertz can't play. Jason Croom ended up catching one ball for three yards and one touchdown.

DeVante Parker, WR, Miami Dolphins - Groin (1-3 Weeks approximately)

After basically being a fantasy football no show for the first half of this game it got even worse for DeVante Parker owners as he left the game with a groin injury. He ended up with three catches for 35 yards.

Groin injuries are nothing to play around with, I'm thinking he will at least miss one week and it could lead to even more depending on the severity. I would monitor this situation closely going forward. These injuries are also very easy to re-injure.

In his absence, you would think Mike Gesicki or Preston Williams would get more work, but they ended up basically doing nothing too. It was actually Miles Gaskin catching four balls for 35 yards and Jakeem Grant who caught four balls for 48 yards.

Going forward though, I expect Williams and Gesicki to get more targets with DeVante Parker more than likely missing time.

Mark Ingram, RB, Baltimore Ravens - Ankle (TBD)

One time fantasy star RB Mark Ingram came out of Sunday's game with an ankle injury after doing absolutely nothing once again for the Ravens. He rushed five times for 20 yards before coming out. I assume most of you guys probably don't have him starting so that is why this is a minor impact injury. I expect him to possibly miss a week, but more importantly, he is going to lose even more touches in this offense. He is becoming close to being a drop for sure.

It does have huge implications for J.K. Dobbins though. Everyone expects him to take over the backfield this year, and this game was the perfect opportunity to do that. Unfortunately, he was only able to rush the ball nine times for 28 yards. Going forward I would like to think he would receive a decent dose of touches with Mark Ingram possibly being out a few weeks.

Raheem Mostert, RB, San Francisco 49ers - Ankle (TBD)

It looks like this week was the ankle injury week in football as another solid fantasy player went down with this injury on Sunday. Raheem Mostert came out of Sunday nights game with an ankle injury after rushing the ball 17 times for 65 yards while also catching two balls for 11 yards. Altogether a pretty unproductive day for Raheem Mostert. In Raheem Mostert's absence, JaMycal Hasty actually got the most carries with nine for 37 yards. Jerrick McKinnon ran the six times for 18 yards so he was a non-factor.

If he does miss some time expect in the coming weeks expect Jerick McKinnon, Jeff Wilson Jr, or even JaMycal Hasty to spit time on the touches.

See you all next week for the seventh week of the NFL football season.
