2021-22 NFL DFS Wild Card Weekend DraftKings Picks

Welcome back to my 2020 NFL DFS Week 14 DraftKings Picks

What a crazy week we had ourselves. We had two first-place teams lose to two teams that have losing records. And we had one time that no matter what they do they can't buy a win.

Firstly, the more thing changes the more things stay the same. Leave it to Adam Gase and the New York Jets to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. And after the game, the Jets promptly fired their Defensive Coordinator Greg Williams. I would like to point out that the game before the Jets only scored three points, can we fire Gase as well.

Lastly, we saw a pair of NFC teams beat a pair of winning teams. First, the New York Giants defense took on a very good Seahawks offense. James Bradberry and company held Russell Willson and the Seahawks to just 12 points. And on Monday night The Washington Football Team scored just enough points to end the Pittsburgh Steelers bid for a perfect season.

Furthermore, Week 13 also marked the end of the Fantasy season and the start of the Fantasy playoffs. unfortunately, some of us missed making our league's playoffs so we think our seasons are over. But have no fear case DFS is still going on, and it is time to pick a new lineup.

So here are some players I like this week.

Ryan Tannehill, QB, Tennessee Titans, ($6,700)

Tannehill has put up some impressive numbers lately. His matchups have not been easy going up against Baltimore, Indiana, and Cleveland. In those games, he is averaging over 279 yards and two touchdowns.

He finally has a good matchup and I feel he is going to take full advantage of it. I'm looking for over 250 yards and a couple of touchdowns for Tannehill.

DraftKings outlook:

Tannehill is projected for over 20 points by Fantasy Six Pack. There are only three teams that are worst than the Jacksonville Jaguars against the quarterback position. The Jags do not have the personnel to slow down the passing attack of the Titans

Other QBs I like this week: Justin Herbert ($6,800), Matt Ryan ($5,700), and Tom Brady ($6,900)

David Montgomery, RB, Chicago Bears, ($6,500)

Montgomery has been lights out the last two games, racking up 254 total yards and three touchdowns (1 receiving). The Houston Texans are not a defense to be afraid of and because of the Bears poor quarterback play, Chicago is going to lean on the run game.

DraftKings outlook:

Fantasy Six Pack has Montgomery projected for over 16 points. The Texans rank 31st against the running back position. Furthermore, Montgomery has no real competition in the backfield that would steal carries from him.

Other RBs I like this week: Kenyan Drake ($5,500), Melvin Gordon ($5,200), and Nyheim Hines ($5,200)

Amari Cooper, WR, Dallas Cowboys, ($6,500)

Amari Cooper is clearly the number one receiver in Dallas and leads the Cowboys receivers in targets with 107. He seems to some chemistry now with QB Andy Dalton.

Ezekiel Elliott was limited in practice on Wednesday with a calf injury and if Zeke is limited in any way, the Cowboys are going to have to move the ball in the air.

DraftKings outlook:

Fantasy Six pack has Cooper projected for just under 15 points. The Cincinnati Bengals are ranked 19th against wide receivers. Cincy has been known to give up a big play or two. Cooper is known for making the big play.

Other WRs I like this week: Mike Evans ($6,600), Corey Davis ($5,700), and DJ Chark ($5,300)

Hunter Henry, TE, Los Angeles Chargers ($4,400)

Before the game against New England Henry was averaging seven and a half targets over his previous four games.

The Falcons have been better since the firing of Dan Quinn, but they are still not good.

Henry should see some red zone targets and when picking a player at this position that's all you are hoping for.

DraftKings outlook:

Fantasy Six Pack has Henry projected for just under 11 points. The Atlanta Falcons are ranked 23rd against the tight end. This could be a high scoring game, and you are going to want a lot of players in this one.

Other TEs I like this week: Jordan Reed ($3,500), Rob Gronkowski ($4,800), and Mike Gesicki ($4,500)
