2021-22 NFL DFS Conference Championship Weekend FanDuel Picks

Welcome to the 2020 NFL DFS Week 14 FanDuel Picks!

In my articles, it is mostly based on cash game and single entry plays as that is what I typically play.

I will throw a few low owned GPP plays out there and some stacks that I will be targeting in the few GPP entries that I do like.

I will update this page if there is any breaking news, injuries, etc. so be sure to check back between now and game time.

Alright, let's get to it!

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles - $6,600

Dare we roll out a rookie QB in his first start against one of the top passing defenses? It might not sound like the smartest idea, but I definitely am interested in Hurts.

He came into last week's game against the Packers and gave the Eagles offense a bit of a jump start. I wasn't overly impressed by his passing ability, but he showed potential and the Eagles offense displayed some life with him under center.

What really piques my interest here is Hurts' rushing ability.

He's able to extend plays with his legs which he'll have to do quite often with his offensive line woes. He took off five times for 29 yards in his limited action against the Packers and tacked on 109 passing yards with one TD and a pick.

Again, I don't love the matchup but I always have interest in quarterbacks that can take off an run like Hurts, giving him a solid floor.

Honorable Mentions: Aaron Rodgers ($9,100), Philip Rivers ($7,000), Mike Glennon ($6,600)

Running Back

Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers - $8,700

Aaron Jones is coming off his second-highest scoring output of the year, posting 130 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown while adding on 3-18 through the air. He was bottled up for most of the game until his game-clinching 77-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Jones had been a bit quiet as of late, mainly due to the Packers leaning on their passing attack and tough matchups, so it was nice to see him break one off. He'll carry that momentum into Sunday's divisional matchup against the Lions.

We can't ask for a better matchup here as the Lions are allowing the most FD PPG (27.78) to running backs.

Jones went absolutely bananas in his first matchup against these Lions back in Week 2. He went for 236 total yards and three total touchdowns, good for 43.6 FDP. I can't project him to post another 40+ point game, but he is in line for another monster day.

I am leaning towards pairing him up with Derrick Henry, who I am also very high on this week.

Honorable Mentions: Derrick Henry ($9,600), James Robinson ($8,000), David Montgomery ($6,600), Ronald Jones ($6,300)

Wide Receiver

Robby Anderson, Carolina Panthers - $6,500

The Panthers come in their Week 14 matchup against the Broncos well rested from their bye.

Don't let this matchup scare you off of Anderson this week. I know the Broncos have faired quite well this season defending the pass.

They are allowing just 21.44 (7th least) FD PPG to opposing wide receivers.

However, they have recently lost to starting cornerbacks to IR, Bryce Callahan and Essang Bassey. On top of those injuries, they also just lost their top corner, AJ Bouye, to suspension. Anderson should have no problem taking advantage of the Broncos' inexperienced secondary.

He may also have less competition for targets this week. Fellow wideout DJ Moore is dealing with an ankle injury he suffered in Week 12. On top of the ankle issue, Moore has found himself on the COVID list along with Curtis Samuel.

If either, or both, of these receivers, miss Sunday's games then Anderson will be in line for even more targets. He almost becomes a must play in my mind if either one is forced to sit out.

I like his price at $6,500, making him one of my top values on the slate.

Honorable Mentions: Davante Adams ($9,600), D.K. Metcalf ($8,600), Justin Jefferson ($7,600), Allen Robinson ($7,000), Corey Davis ($6,800), Tim Patrick ($5,400), Collin Johnson ($5,100)

Tight End

Dalton Schultz, Dallas Cowboys - $5,100

We need to find some salary relief somewhere, and with how much of a crapshoot the tight end position has been all year, this seems like the spot to do it.

Schultz has been a solid option, catching at least four balls in five straight games.

He has averaged six targets per game in that same span. While these targets have not turned into huge stat lines for Schultz, it's nice to see that is very much still involved in this passing attack.

He gets his softest matchup to date against the Bengals this week who are giving up the second most FD PPG (10.54) to opposing tight ends. They've gotten ripped apart the past two weeks by Evan Engram (6-129) and Mike Gesicki (9-88-1).

I like for that trend to continue again this week with Schultz. And if he manages to fall into the endzone, he absolutely smashes value.

Honorable Mentions: Noah Fant ($5,500), Jordan Akins ($5,000)

Defense

Dallas Cowboys - $3,500

Again, this is more of a salary play than anything else.

The Cowboys defense has been playing a little better as of late though, the return of Leighton Vander Esch has been a big reason why.

Aside from the cheap salary, we are targeting a Joe Burrow-less Cincinnati Bengals offense that has been incompetent since his season-ending injury.

Over their last four games, the Bengals have failed to top 17 points in a game (10, 9 17, and 7). In that same four-game span, they have surrendered 16 sacks, 4 INTs, and 5 fumbles.

Cincy's O-line was already a mess and now just lost LT Jonah Williams to a knee injury.

I'm interested

Honorable Mentions: Seahawks ($5,000), Panthers ($3,400), Texans ($3,400)
