2020 NFL DFS Week 15 DraftKings Picks

on

Welcome back to my 2020 NFL DFS Week 15 DraftKings Picks.

Week 14 was the start of the Fantasy Football playoffs in a lot of leagues. So either you are riding high going into Week 15, or you are cursing the name of that player you drafted in the second round who decided to have his worst game of the season.

But we are in luck because DraftKings is here for us. We can set a new lineup and get back on track.

The NFL in 2020 is shaping up to be an odd one. The NFC East continues to be a mess, with the Washington Football Team as the division leader. They were able to beat the San Francisco 49ers with two defensive touchdowns. The Philadelphia Eagles benched the multi-million dollar QB, Carson Wentz, in favor of Jalen Hurts, who was drafted in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Hurts played well enough to beat the New Orleans Saints.

Speaking of the Saints, Drew Brees should be back under center against the Kansas City Chiefs which means Taysom Hill is a tight end again? More importantly we get Brees vs Patrick Mahomes this weekend!

The once-mighty Pittsburgh Steelers have now dropped two in a row. Mike Tomlin can not seem to get James Conner and that running game going. Ben Roethlisberger has been forced to throw the ball a lot over the last three weeks, with over 50 attempts in two of those games.

Here are a few players I like this week on DraftKings.

Jared Goff, QB, Los Angeles Rams, ($6,300)

First off if there is a chance to play any players against Adam Gase and his New York Jets, you have to take it. Secondly, Jared Goff is a good quarterback in a really good matchup.  Goff has had a 300-yard passing game in three of his last five matchups.

DraftKings outlooks:

Fantasy Six Pack has Goff projected for over 20 points. The Jets are ranked 19th against the quarterback position. Also, the Jets have given up over 27 points in the last four weeks against the QB. The way the Rams offense is playing it could be a long day for the Jets defense.

Other QBs I Like: Mitchell Trubisky ($5,500), Jalen Hurts ($5,900), and Ryan Tannehill ($6,700)

J.K. Dobbins, RB, Baltimore Ravens ($5,900)

The Ravens have got their running game back on track and Dobbins has benefitted most. J.K. has found himself in the endzone twice in the last two weeks. This week is not going to be different.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are not known for being able to stop opposing running backs. I expect the Ravens to run wild in this game and we could see him eclipse 100 yards for the first time since Week 8.

DraftKings outlook:

Fantasy Six Pack has Dobbins projected for just under 14 points. The Jaguars are ranked 30th against the running back position. The Ravens could go up big very early in this game, so we could see a lot of the ground game. Dobbins could see an increased workload as the Ravens continue to make their playoff push.

Other RBs I like this week: Nyheim Hines ($5,400), D’Andre Swift ($6,400), and Cam Akers ($6,600)

Brandon Aiyuk, WR, San Francisco 49ers, ($6,300)

Aiyuk is the perfect receiver for a Kyle Shanahan offense with his elite yards after catch ability. Also, Deebo Samuel is sidelined with a hamstring injury.

DraftKings outlook:

Fantasy Six Pack has Aiyuk projected for over 16 points. Also, the Cowboys are 31st against the wide receiver position. Aiyuk is going to get open anytime he wants against this secondary, and there is nothing Dallas can do about it. Aiyuk has averaged over 21 points in his last five games, and I am looking for him to hit that mark again in Week 15.

Other WRs I like this week: T.Y Hilton ($5,500), Corey Davis ($5,800), and Terry McLaurin ($6,600)

Irv Smith Jr, TE, Minnesota Vikings, ($3,600)

Let’s face it, the tight end position has been a wasteland outside of the top priced options. So my goal is to find a tight end that has a chance of getting into the end zone, and Smith Jr. is that guy this week. Smith is a big target for Kirk Cousins, who likes to throw to the tight end in the red zone and with Kyle Rudolph (foot) officially out, it’s Irv Smith’s time to shine.

DraftKings outlook:

Fantasy Six Pack has Smith Jr projected for almost eight points this week. The Chicago Bears are not great against the position as they are ranked 29th. You will be chasing upside here hoping that Smith jr is going to get in the endzone.

Other TEs I like this week: Logan Thomas ($4,000), Rob Gronkowski ($4,200), and Mark Andrews ($5,500)
