2020 NFL DFS Week 17 DraftKings Picks

on

Welcome back to my 2020 NFL DFS Week 17 DraftKings Picks!

We did it! We made it through the 2020 NFL regular season.

It’s been a tough road but we got here, and it is so satisfying.

Over these past few months, we were treated to some great individual performances. But none like what we saw in Week 16.

Alvin Kamara leveled up and did something that has not been done in the NFL since the 1920’s. Kamara rushed for six touchdowns on Christmas! He should have had seven but Taysom Hill ran one in himself.

This is the last article for the season from me. It has been a pleasure to help you set your DFS lineups. Here are my final picks of the season. Happy New Year!

Derek Carr, QB, Las Vegas Raiders, (5,700)

Carr has had some highs and lows this season. In the last four weeks, Carr had three top 10 performances. He is going up against the Denver Broncos, and they have given up big games against the quarterback.

The Raiders are playing for pride, so they are going to want to show what kind of team they can be. Also, Carr is playing for a job next season he is going to want to impress in this game.

DraftKings outlook:

Carr is projected for over 17.5 points by Fantasy Six Pack. The Broncos are ranked 22nd against the quarterback.

Carr is going to have both Darren Waller and Nelson Agholor at his disposal. They are going to wreak havoc on the Denver defense.

Other QBs I like this week: Mitchell Trubisky ($5,600), Kirk Cousins ($6,300), and Ryan Tannehill ($7,000)

David Johnson, RB, Houston Texans ($6,800)

Johnson is playing well lately. He has been a top 10 Back over the last two weeks, giving the Texans a much need boost. Johnson is going to be in a favorable against Tennessee Titans, who have not been able to slow down the running back.

This is going to be a matchup between two bad defenses, so I expect a lot of points to be scored.

DraftKings outlook:

Johnson is projected for over 16.5 points by Fantasy Six Pack. The Titans are ranked 28th against the running back position.

Because the Texans have nothing to play for, they are going to leave it all on the field. Johnson can get it done on both the ground and in the air.

Other RBs I like this week: Jeff Wilson Jr. ($6,000), D’Andre Swift ($6,300), and J.K. Dobbins ($6,700)

Jamison Crowder, WR, New York Jets, ($5,000)

That’s right, I’m selecting a Jets player…but it is Week 17. We have to go with players that are going to play the whole game.

Crowder is going to be on the field for the entire game, and he is going to receive a lot of targets. Crowder and Sam Donald have a great rapport on the field and it is going to be on full display in this game.

Adam Gase is going to want to show the other 31 teams he can coach an offense so I’m looking for him to air it out.

DraftKings outlook:

Crowder is projected for almost 13 points by Fantasy Six Pack. He will be going up against the New England Patriots who are ranked 16th against the wide receiver position.

Crowder scored 29 points on DraftKings in Week 16. He is a target monster playing in the slot, and I don’t see that changing in Week 17.

Other WRs I like this week: Emmanuel Sanders ($5,500), Amari Cooper ($5,800), and Corey Davis ($6,200)

Eric Ebron, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers, ($4,000)

Ebron has been receiving almost six targets a game in the last 5 weeks. The Steelers have been going to him when there is a big play that needs to be made. Ebron is also a big target in the red zone, so he can grab a touchdown or two in this game.

It looks like the Steelers are going to rest Big Ben, so the backup QB is going to rely on a target running routs close to the line of scrimmage.

DraftKings outlook:

Fantasy Six Pack has projected for almost eight points. He will be going up against the Cleveland Browns who are 30th against the tight end position.

With players like Travis Kelce not playing this Sunday, Ebron could easily be in the top 10.

Other TEs I like this week: Hayden Hurst ($3,700), Mike Gesicki ($4,200), and T.J. Hockenson
