2020 NFL DFS Week 6 DraftKings Picks

Welcome back to my 2020 NFL DFS Week 6 DraftKings Picks.

Week 5 needed an extra day to be completed, but who doesn’t love more football?!

We finally got to see the Tennesse Titans take the field against the Buffalo Bills. The Titans looked rested and ready to go as they routed the Bills 42-16. Derrick Henry had a good fantasy day with 57 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. But what got me out of my seat was the stiff arm on Josh Norman! I don’t know about you but I’ve enjoyed all the memes.

The Pittsburgh Steelers also took the field after an unscheduled bye week. Football fans were treated to another WR rookie breakout. Chase Claypool had himself a day, going for 110 yards and scoring three receiving touchdowns on 7 receptions. He also added a touchdown on the ground giving him four on the day!

Let’s get to the players I feel are going to have a good Week 6.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions ($6,300)

Stafford has been somewhat disappointing this season, only topping 20 points just once on DraftKings back in Week 1. But this is a juicy matchup for him, as the Jacksonville Jaguars have given up an average of over 24 points to the QB. With all of Stafford’s weapons healthy, he should be in for a big day.

DraftKings outlook:

As you guys already know I love picking players in high scoring matchups, and Vegas has this game projected at over 54 points. Fantasy Six Pack projects Stafford for nearly 20 points on DraftKings.

Stafford is not the only player I like in this matchup. WR Kenny Golladay ($6,200) has found the end zone in both his games this season. I don’t see that trend ending against the Jags, as they are 18th against the WR.

Also if you want to take a dart throw on rookie RB D’Andre Swift ($4,500) this would be the game to do it. The Jags have been horrible against running backs and with his cheap price tag, this could be the game he finally breaks out.

I also like the players on the other side of the ball, starting with RB James Robinson ($6,800). The Lions have been just about bad against opposing running backs, and Robinson has been outstanding this season. We should see him get a lot of touches on both the ground and in the air.

Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Football Team ($5,700)

The cure for a bad Fantasy season is the New York Giants secondary. They will allow big plays, so enter Scary Terry to your lineups.

With 413 yards on 29 reception on the season, McLaurin is in line for a big game on Sunday.

Now I know that McLaurin has only found the end zone once this season, but the change at quarterback, from Dwayne Haskins to Kyle Allen to Alex Smith, should help him.

DraftKings outlook:

This is not projected to be a high scoring game but there are going to be some Fantasy-relevant players.

F6P projects McLaurin to score 15 points and he is averaging 9 targets a game.

You can also take a shot on RB Antonio Gibson ($5,500). In five games this season Gibson has a total of four touchdowns.

On the other side of the field, I like TE Evan Engram ($4,900). He finally looks healthy, and he is playing well. We have seen tight ends have success against Washington this season and Engram is poised to have a big game on Sunday.

Myles Gaskin, RB, Miami Dolphins, ($5,400)

As I’m writing this article, Adam Gase still hasn’t been fired. So until that happens let’s keep firing up players against him and the New York Jets defense.

Gaskin had a strong performance against the San Francisco 49ers, with 91 total yards and a touchdown. Even with all the injuries on the Niners defensive line, they are still much better against the run than the Jets.

DraftKings outlook:

The Dolphins have an implied total of over 27 points. This game could get out of hand very quickly, but Gaskin could be a big part of the reason why.

Fantasy Six Pack projects Gaskin at over 15 points, good for a 2.8x value. Only David Montgomery and Derrick Henry are projected to be more valuable.

Consider including QB Ryan Fitzpatrick ($5,900), WR Devante Parker ($6,300) and/or TE Mike Gesicki ($5,500).

The Dolphins defense/special teams ($2,900) should be a good play as well. They were priced prior to Le’Veon Bell being released and then signing with the Kansas City Chiefs!

There is only one player I would suggest on the New York Jets, and that is Jamison Crowder ($6,100).
