2020 NFL DFS Week 7 DraftKings Picks

Welcome back to my 2020 NFL DFS Week 7 DraftKings Picks.

We were able to get all of the scheduled games this last week, plus two on Monday. We saw some very entertaining games in Week 6, and some great individual performances.

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry totaled over 260 yards and scored two rushing touchdowns on his way to 43.4 DraftKings points!

But it’s a new week and it is time to set brand new lineups. Let’s get to the players I feel are going to have a good Week 7.

Justin Herbert, QB, Los Angeles Chargers ($6,400)

Herbert has been balling out the past two games, throwing for a combined 554 yards and seven touchdowns. This Sunday he gets to take on a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that ranks last in the NFL according to Football Outsiders DVOA.

DraftKings outlook:

The Chargers have an implied total of 28.5 points according to Vegas odds. The Jaguars are ranked 23rd in DK points allowed to opposing quarterbacks and Herbert has averaged over 24 points on DraftKings. Fantasy Six Pack projects Herbert for over 20 points.

Herbert isn’t afraid to take a shot downfield, and when he does it is usually to Mike Williams ($4,700). In his last game against the New Orleans Saints, Williams put up 109 yards and caught two touchdowns on five receptions. If Keenan Allen is out or limited, look for Williams’s targets to go up.

On the Jaguars side, I like James Robinson ($6,200). He is only averaging 13.7 points on Draftkings over his last three games, but he is still on the field more often than not and the volume is there.

D’Andre Swift, RB, Detroit Lions, ($5,400)

Swift broke out in Week 6 with 116 yards and two touchdowns. Coming off the bye week the Lions made an effort to get him the ball. He was explosive when called upon picking up over eight yards per carry.

He is going to also factor in the passing game, being the best pass-catching back on the team. This has the potential to be a high scoring game with Vegas setting the over/under at 55 points.

DraftKings outlook:

I love gabbing good cheap players that are playing bad defenses, that’s where Swift comes in.

D’Andre out-snapped Adrian Peterson 29 to 27 last week. This is a change from previous weeks with Peterson out snapping the rookie. I don’t see the team going back, as we saw them move the ball better when he was on the field.

F6P has Swift projected for 12.7 DraftKings points against a Falcons defense that ranks 25th against opposing running backs.

QB Matthew Stafford ($6,500), and WR Kenny Golladay ($6,700) are also good plays this week. I know they did not have a great game against the Jags, but that game was not competitive early and they were not needed as much. We saw some big plays from the duo last week and the Falcons should force the Lions to keep their foot on the gas.

T.J. Hockenson ($5,000) is also a good play and he has found the endzone in his last two games.

Being a high scoring game you are going to want players on the other side of the ball as well. WR Julio Jones ($7,100) and WR Calvin Ridley ($7,300) are good plays in this matchup. Detroit ranks last on DraftKings in point allowed to opposing running backs so fire up your Todd Gurley‘s ($6,000)!

James Conner, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers ($6,700)

Conner has not been talked about a lot this season, but he has 100 rushing yards in three of his last four games and touchdown in all four.

DraftKings outlook:

Our Wisdom of the Crowd projections has Conner at 16.4 points on DraftKings. He is averaging over 21.5 points on DraftKings since Week 1.

Vegas has the Steelers/Titans over/under set at 51 points. Both quarterbacks, Ben Roethlisberger ($6,600) and Ryan Tannehill ($6,200), are good plays this week. Tannehill has the tougher matchup, but at this point, he is matchup proof.  I also love all pass catchers in this game and they are all under $6,500.
