Welcome to 2020 Targets and Touches Through Week 10!

We are ten weeks into the fantasy football season and some trends are starting to develop across the landscape of the league.

Each week in this article, we will touch on both the positive and negative trends that will have an effect on your fantasy team when it comes to offensive snaps played, targets, and touches. You can also use this information to help you place bets via Rhode Island sports betting.

Running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends alike will be talked about but the focus will be on the not-so-obvious impact players or injury replacements.

Running Backs

Ronald Jones II, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Jones had his best game of the season against the Panthers, carrying the ball 23 times for 192 yards and a TD.

He had 18 more snaps than Leonard Fournette and played 59% of the snaps.

This backfield is still one that can shift at any time but Jones seems to be the back to own right now.

Kenyan Drake & Chase Edmonds, Arizona Cardinals

Drake and Edmonds played a similar percentage of offensive snaps against Buffalo on Sunday (38% & 36% respectively)

However, Drake was the one that was more involved in the offense.

Drake out carried Edmonds 16-to-8 and outgained him 100 to 56.

Both are still worth owning at this point are both flex plays, but Drake seems to be more active.

D’Andre Swift, Detroit Lions

Finally, it seems as if Swift has taken control of the backfield.

Swift out-snapped the next Lions RB 43-to-9 and played 73% of the offensive snaps.

The best part is he was productive with his snaps, rushing for 81 yards, catching six balls for 68 yards and a TD.

Wide Receivers

Jakeem Grant, Miami Dolphins

Grant seems to have secured the role that was filled by Preston Williams.

He played 73% percent of the offensive snaps, second to only Devonte Parker.

Grant caught four of the five targets for 43 yards and a TD.

Willie Snead IV, Baltimore Ravens

Someone had to eventually step up and play WR for the Ravens.

Snead has seen seven targets in two of the last three games.

In that span, he has accumulated 207 yards on 14 receptions.

With Marquise Brown being irrelevant most of the season, it may be time to take Snead seriously.

Josh Reynolds, Los Angeles Rams

This is a bit of an odd one, but Reynolds has been coming on as of late and becoming more involved.

He led all Rams with 10 targets on Sunday.

Reynolds caught eight of the 10 targets for 83 yards against the Seahawks.

Brandon Aiyuk, San Fransico 49ers

Aiyuk has a whopping 14 targets on Sunday.

He has double-digit targets in his last two games and is clearly the No. 1 in San Fran.

Aiyuk finished the game on Sunday with seven catches for 75 yards and a touchdown.
