2021-22 Fantasy Basketball Bounce Back Players
Klay Thompson, SG/SF, Golden State Warriors

2018-19 Stats (last healthy season)
One of the most lethal shooters in the history of the game, Thompson was coming off of a torn ACL in 2019-20, and then the following year suffered a brutal Achilles tendon injury, costing him another season.
Now that he is nearly back to 100%, one can expect numbers similar to what he put up in his last healthy season, where he averaged over 21 points a game and shot nearly 41% from deep, all while playing elite defense.
Thompson may not come back for the first month of the season, but he is still a must-have for all rosters, as his scoring bursts can win you more than one matchup over the course of your season.
Devonte' Graham, PG/SG, New Orleans Pelicans
— Sports Illustrated (@SInow) August 3, 2021
Graham burst onto the scene in the 2019-20 season as a lone bright spot on a terrible Hornets squad, where he lit up the scoreboard with his ridiculous three-point shots. However, he saw a setback this past year, as the Hornets had some depth, drafting LaMelo Ball to play alongside Gordon Hayward, Terry Rozier and Miles Bridges - all facilitators and scorers in their own right.
This limited Graham's chances to produce on a nightly basis, and his performance suffered as a result. His points per game and shooting percentages saw a decrease across the board.
In the offseason, he found a home in New Orleans, who had just seen starting point guard Lonzo Ball leave for Chicago. With a new opportunity look for a bounceback campaign for Graham. He could see a boost in the assists category, as he will be feeding two stud players in Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson.
Pascal Siakam, PF, Toronto Raptors
— NBA (@NBA) May 7, 2021
Siakam did not have the type of season that Fantasy owners were accustomed to following his breakout back in 2018. His numbers fell drastically as he battled COVID-19. The team also had to play in Tampa as opposed to their home in Toronto.
His rebound numbers dropped, his three-point percentage dramatically decreased, and he was committing more fouls. Now, Kyle Lowry has departed Toronto, leaving Siakam to be the main man for the Raptors.
With a rookie in Scottie Barnes and a lot of secondary pieces in Toronto, look for Siakam to shoulder the load. This could potentially lead to a top 10 Fantasy finish at his position as well.
Be warned, Siakam is going to miss the beginning of the season, as he is still recovering from shoulder surgery. Despite that, he is a must-have for all rosters, as he should immediately produce upon his return.
Anthony Davis, PF/C, Los Angeles Lakers
The biggest name on this list, Davis had an injury-plagued 2020-21 season. His points per game and percentages were all down, and he played less than half the season. With a full offseason to recover and a reloaded roster that includes Russell Westbrook, Davis is going to revert back to his superstar ways.
He finally has a floor general who can set him up with excellent looks on the court when Lebron James is taking a breather. Davis should see all of his numbers jump back up to their normal levels. It would not be surprising to see them reach a new level, as this is such a complete Lakers roster. Davis can maximize his skills and be a top pick in all Fantasy drafts without question.
