2021 Dynasty Baseball Prospect Profile: Hudson Haskin

In this week’s 2021 Dynasty Baseball Prospect Profile, we take a look at Hudson Haskin. Haskin was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles with the 39th overall pick in 2020. This player is currently 22 years old, measuring 6-foot-2, 200 lbs.

Due to his interesting playing style, yet hard work ethic mixed with some nice tools, Haskin could be the next Hunter Pence. Haskin has an above-average combination of power and speed.

A quick fun fact: he went to the same high school as George Springer.

The Orioles have a stacked farm, so make sure to keep an eye out on hitters such as Haskin, Adley Rutschman, Gunnar Henderson, Coby Mayo, Maikol Hernandez, Terrin Vavra, Heston Kjerstad, and many others.

Haskin is a speed demon. Through his short minor league tenure, he has already stolen 8 bases this season. Haskin profiles as a center fielder and could be the Orioles future leadoff hitter down the road. Haskin could add nicely to an outfield with the likes of Anthony Santander and Austin Hays.

He is an aggressive base runner, so expect him to get a ton of steals.
