Corbin Carroll was drafted in the 2019 class by the Arizona Diamondbacks with the 16th pick. He was drafted right out of high school from Lakeside, WA.
Caroll is a buy now candidate. He is a high floor player that has the potential to be a 20 home run, 20 steal guy, and could reach 25/20 in his prime. This kid is an athletic 5’10 170 lbs with sneaky power and still room to get stronger.

Hitting
Corbin Carroll has arguably the best hit tool in the 2019 draft class. He has great bat speed, good discipline, a good eye, and excellent bat to ball skills. His hit tool should continue to improve as he ages.
Carroll proved his bat to ball skills throughout his high school career in Perfect Game tournaments. This potential all star has stayed above a 130 WRC+ with good walk and contact rates so far in the minors which is a good sign for him to continue his production.
Power
Carroll has sneaky power with a 91+mph average exit velocity (according to Fangraphs) which should only improve as he grows into his frame and gets older.
Carroll is a very hard worker, and news from Diamondbacks camp indicates he has been trying to improve his launch angle and add more power. If this remains true, this kid should be a special talent.
Speed
Carroll has above-average speed that should allow him to stay in center field. He is also a good defensive player and has the potential to steal plenty of bases. This athlete is likely a leadoff hitter.
