2021 Fantasy Football Week 10 Injury Impact

Welcome everyone to the 2021 Fantasy Football Week 10 Injury Impact article. In this article, I will be going over the most impactful injuries that went down on Sunday.

Before we get into that, we had trouble brewing during the week that affected a lot of people's lineups. I will get into that later.

As for Sunday, we weren't so lucky as we were in Week 9. There were a few big injuries that I will get into, so buckle up.

Before I get into what went down on Sunday, I have to go over the injuries that took place during the week.

Pre-Sunday Injuries

Robert Woods, WR, Los Angeles Rams - Torn ACL (Out For Season)

Robert Woods (45-556 4 Touchdowns) tore his ACL in Friday's practice. He will miss the rest of the season. This is terrible news for fantasy football fans, and for Rams fans. The good news for Los Angeles is that they signed Odell Beckham Jr.

With Robert Woods out, expect to see a lot of Cooper Kupp. I also expect more targets for Van Jefferson and Odell Beckham Jr. obviously.

Preston shared his thoughts on possible replacement WRs for Fantasy managers.

Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints - Knee

Alvin Kamara did not suit up on Sunday because of a knee injury. The severity of this injury is unknown right now, but it is something you will have to monitor.

Mark Ingram, for the time being, is the RB1. On Sunday, he touched the ball 18 times and had 108 total yards. Mark Ingram also added one touchdown on the ground.

If Kamara misses more time, Mark Ingram should be rostered in all leagues. He should also be started as a low-end RB2/solid flex play.

Aaron Jones, RB, Green Bay Packers - MCL Sprain (TBD)

On Sunday, Aaron Jones (11 touches for 86 yards) left the game in the second half with a knee injury. Turns out, Jones sprained his MCL and I expect him to miss a couple of games.

This is a big hit for those that have Aaron Jones on their fantasy team, hopefully, you can snag AJ Dillon.

Speaking of AJ Dillon, he touched the ball 23 times and had 128 total yards. Dillon also scored two touchdowns on the ground. Please pick him up in leagues as soon as you can. He should be a high-end RB2 while Aaron Jones is out.

QB Injury

Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns - Knee

Baker Mayfield left Sunday's game in the second half with a knee injury. The severity of this is unknown, but it is a little concerning that he did not return.

If you have him on your team, expect the worst and go grab a backup. In his place, Case Keenum went 8/12 for 81 yards. Please do not pick up Colt McCoy if Baker misses more time.

Other Sunday Injuries

CeeDee Lamb, WR, Dallas Cowboys - Arm Contusion (Should be fine)

CeeDee Lamb (6-94 2 TD's) had himself a monster day today but came down with an arm contusion late in the game. He should be good to go for their next game though. Just monitor the situation.

Dallas Goedert, TE, Philadelphia Eagles - Head Injury

Dallas Goedert (2-28) went down with a head injury in Sunday's win over the Broncos. The severity of this injury is unknown, so please monitor this situation moving forward.

In his place, Jake Stoll saw three targets and caught two of them for six yards. Do not pick up Jake Stoll.

Ricky Seals-Jones, TE, Washington Football Team - Hip

Ricky Seals-Jones (3-30) left early with a hip injury and did not return. This is something you should be monitoring, although, Logan Thomas is on his way back.

John Bates took over the TE duties and caught three balls for 25 yards. He is not worth a pick-up.

That should do it for the 2021 Fantasy Football Week 10 Injury Impact article. I will be here next week, as always.
