Welcome Fantasy friends and foes to the 2021 Fantasy Football Week 17 Stock Up/Stock Down. The Fantasy Playoffs are here, and you have some very important decisions to make!
Before we get into that, let's take a look at how our picks from last week fared in their slate of games this week.
Unfortunately, Gabriel Davis was out because of the COVID-19 cases spreading across the league. Amon-Ra St. Brown was able to continue his hot streak, reaching the end zone once again despite having a subpar quarterback in Tim Boyle. Nine catches for 91 yards and a score shows that St. Brown is basically matchup proof heading into the Lions' Week 17 showdown with the Seahawks.
On the flip side, Joe Mixon proved me wrong, with 135 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in a blowout win over the Ravens. Mixon owners can feel more confident, especially with a shootout looming against Kansas City in Week 17.
Kirk Cousins was pretty pedestrian this past week, with only one touchdown and an interception, despite throwing for over 300 yards. Cousins will look to bounce back in a Sunday night showdown against the Packers this coming week.
Now that we've gotten you all through the first round of the fantasy playoffs, let's look ahead to who's stock is on the rise, and who is trending down!

Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys
— NFL (@NFL) December 28, 2021
Dak was nearly perfect in Week 17 against the Washington Football Team, throwing for four touchdown passes and 330 yards. This was a huge performance for Prescott, considering his struggles coming into Sunday night, where he had three touchdowns and three interceptions combined over his last three games. Prescott should be in line for another big game, facing a spiraling Cardinals team that has lost three games in a row.
Antonio Brown, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
— Tampa Bay Buccaneers (@Buccaneers) October 10, 2021
Brown has once again become Tom Brady's favorite target, making it two games in a row with more than 10 targets, totaling nearly 200 yards in those games, with a score. With Chris Godwin and Mike Evans out due to injury and Rob Gronkowski struggling, AB is the go-to guy for Brady and is now a must-start if you own him in any league.
Cordarrelle Patterson, RB/WR, Atlanta Falcons
Great player, even better person @ceeflashpee84 ❤️
— B/R Gridiron (@brgridiron) December 28, 2021
Patterson has now been bottled up by the opposing defense for the second week in a row. He has 18 carries for 32 yards over his last two starts and only three catches over that same span. Things don't get any better for the Falcons, as they face a tough Buffalo defense in Week 17. Once a must start, owners must think twice before slotting Patterson into their lineups.
Aaron Jones, RB, Green Bay Packers
Aaron Jones is a great blend of shifty and tough. Love how he finishes this play. pic.twitter.com/Q3bsM25drw

Jones has been shut down for three weeks in a row now, basically splitting time with A.J Dillon. Jones has been saved by Aaron Rodgers' propensity to throw the ball at the goal line, but last week failed to reach the end zone. In an offense where the bruising Dillon may see more goal-line touches, and Davante Adams is the clear alpha, Jones has taken a step back and is not as trustworthy as he used to be heading into the next round of the fantasy playoffs.
