My Thoughts Heading Into Week 6
Studs From Week 5
Here I'm briefly discussing the Top IDP Players from each position in Week 5. Scores are based on FantasyPros standard scoring.
Haason Reddick, DL, Carolina Panthers
Reddick has been an absolute force in Carolina. He's registered 6.5 sacks in only five games. Fire him up everywhere you can, whenever you can.
Darius Leonard, LB, Indianapolis Colts
This man returns to his proper seat atop the LB position. It was somewhat of a quiet week for linebackers, but nevertheless, he lead the charge. He seems to be working towards being fully healthy, he's if not already.
If he's healthy, LB1 should be a regular occurrence again.
Kevin Byard, S, Tennessee Titans
Byard turned in a stellar performance this week, just beating out Derwin James for the top spot here. He racked up 10 tackles, an interception, and a fumble recovery. I don't expect this to be the norm going forward.
Duds From Week 5
Joey Bosa, DL, Los Angeles Chargers
I had a feeling this would be a tough game for Bosa. Cleveland's offensive line is so good, and they're usually one of the quickest "snap-to-pass" rate teams out there.
If Bosa didn't contribute to stopping the run, I knew this would be a tough matchup. He's more of a boom or bust player, but he's still a game-changer worthy of being in your lineups.
Bobby Wagner, LB, Seattle Seahawks
Wagner did pick up an injury during the game but played through it. As long as he's playing I expect this game to be an outlier.
Taylor Rapp, S, Los Angeles Rams
Rapp managed just one solo tackle in this one. After a pretty solid season thus far this was obviously a disappointment. There are rumors out there that his starting spot could be up for grabs, but he still played his usual assortment of snaps.
I'm not panicking yet, but I'm monitoring the situation closely.
We managed to make it through the week without any significant injuries that are forcing players to IR or to miss the rest of the season. However here are some players with injuries to monitor.
