Yes, I’m that confident in this process of finding under-the-radar players that can surprise on a weekly basis. This article will roll on through Week 14.

With all that said, let’s dive into my 2021 Fantasy Football Week 6 IDP Streamers.

Week 6 IDP Dream Stream Team

Hopefully, you were able to snag David Long off waiver after you read my Week 6 IDP Waiver Wire article. He finds himself in a great matchup this week against the Bills.

Buffalo is currently second in the league in most offensive plays per game. On top of that, they run more often than you might think, and Josh Allen has a lower yards per pass attempt than you might think.

These two stats keep things close to the line of scrimmage, which keeps linebackers more involved. Between Zach Moss and Devin Singletary neither are blazing runners that are going to surpass the second level quickly.

In my Week 6 IDP Rankings, I have David Long at LB10.

A.J. Klein, LB, Buffalo Bills

This comes with a small caveat. You’ll have to pay attention to the injury designation of Matt Milano. If Matt Milano misses another game, Klein is set to go off this week.

He draws Tennessee for a matchup this week, which lord knows they love to run the ball. They have the 3rd highest run-to-pass rate in the league and an extremely low yards per pass attempt. Which again, keeps things close to the line of scrimmage.

Nasir Adderley, DB, Los Angeles Chargers

Adderley has been quietly impressive so far this year and has managed to be one of the best-kept secrets at DB in the league.

This week he draws a matchup against Baltimore, who runs the ball the sixth most in the league and Lamar maintains a high yards per pass attempt.

Now how are those two correlated? Well simply put it just leaves the most opportunity for a safety to be involved in the play. Either via run defense where Adderley has been very efficient OR covering plays further down the field.

John Johnson, DB, Cleveland Browns

Who’d have thought Johnson would be a streamer? At the start of the season, we thought he was going to be a bonafide stud on a new team.

This is a bit of a “last chance” for me. He draws a great matchup against Arizona. They run the ball a ton and have a high yards per pass attempt.

As I mentioned, this gives the most opportunity for DBs to get involved. Cleveland so far has averaged the fewest defensive plays per game, which could be what’s hurting Johnson. Or maybe he’s just not it anymore.

Maxx Crosby, DL, Las Vegas Raiders

After a gangbusters start to the season, Crosby has left a lot to be desired. However, he has a chance to bounce back against a very susceptible Broncos offense.

The Broncos are in the middle of the row when it comes to offensive plays ran as well as run-to-pass rate compared to the rest of the league.

While that is the case, they’ve allowed the 7th most sacks per game thus far this season. Along with that, Teddy Bridgewater has the second-longest time to throw stat in the league. Second only to Trey Lance.

Josh Allen, DL, Jacksonville Jaguars

Josh Allen draws one of the best matchups of the weekend. While Miami is on the lower end of plays ran, they throw the ball at the second-highest rate in the league and have allowed the third-most sacks per game.

Look for K’Lavon Chaisson in deeper leagues as well. While the Jaguars haven’t been having a great year, these two can be a bright spot this weekend.
