2021 NFL DFS Divisional Round DraftKings Picks

Welcome back to my 2021 NFL DFS Divisional Round DraftKings Picks!

Not many surprises in the Super Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs with only one real “upset.” The Pittsburgh Steelers did not show up for their game against the Cleveland Browns until the second half. The Browns got out to an early 28-0 lead in the first quarter!

But it is on to the next round and we have a new set of players to pick from this week.

What Does Vegas Think?

  • Cleveland Browns @ Kansas City Cty Chiefs (-10) – 57 over/under
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints (-3) – 51.5 o/u
  • Baltimore Ravens @ Buffalo Bills (-2.5) – 49.5 o/u
  • Los Angeles Rams @ Green Bay Packers (-7) – 45.5 o/u

Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens ($7,600)

Jackson got off to a tough start, but he came around towards the end of the season. He once again cracked 1,000 rushing yards, making him the only quarterback to do it in two consecutive seasons.

The Bills are going to have their hands full with the reigning NFL MVP.

DraftKings outlook:

Jackson is projected for almost 24 points by Fantasy Six Pack. I know he has a big price tag, but he is $400 cheaper than Patrick Mahomes. You can put those savings into selecting a top-end wide receiver.

The Buffalo Bills are ranked 26th against the quarterback. They are not a high powered defense and Jackson will have the opportunity to put up some big numbers.

Cam Akers, RB, Los Angeles Rams ($5,700)

Akers has taken over as the lead back in Los Angeles. The Rams are going to lean on the run game in this matchup due to the fact their quarterbacks are bang-up. Akers 131 yards one touchdown on 28 carries shows he is up for the task.

The Packers do a lot of things well on defense but stopping running backs is not one of them. This is going to be a juicy matchup for Akers.

DraftKings outlook:

Akers is projected for almost 15 points by Fantasy Six Pack. The Rams are going to run the ball in order to chew up the clock.

The more they can keep the ball out of Aaron Rodgers and Devante Adams hands the better chance they have of winning this game.

Stefon Diggs, WR, Buffalo Bills ($7,300)

Now is the time to look for high ceiling players, and very few have a higher ceiling than Diggs. Throw the rankings out the window, cause Diggs has been great against everybody.

Stefon Diggs finished the season with 127 receptions, 1,535 yards and eight touchdowns.

The Bills are going to find ways to get the ball in Diggs’ hand as often as possible.

DraftKings outlook:

Diggs is projected for almost 18 points by Fantasy Six Pack. This just might be his toughest matchup of the season, but the Bills coaching staff will find creative ways of getting him the ball.

In order to keep up, Buffalo is going to have to air it out.

Austin Hooper, TE, Cleveland Browns ($3,800)

Hooper has really stepped up as of late. In the Wild Card game, he was able to pull down seven receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown.

Hooper has been heavily targeted by Baker Mayfield as of late with a total of 31 in the last three games.

Kanas City is not going to let the Browns jump off to a big lead like the Steelers. This is going to be a competitive game.

DraftKings outlook:

Hooper is projected for almost 11 points by Fantasy Six Pack. Hopper is going to have a great matchup against the Chiefs as they are ranked 31st against the tight end.

In Hopper’s last four games he has averaged 15 points on DraftKings.
