2021-22 NFL DFS Conference Championship Weekend FanDuel Picks

Welcome back readers to my 2021 NFL DFS Week 10 FanDuel Picks.

Can somebody tell me what the heck was going on in Week 9? Up was down and down was up. It did not make sense to me at all.

First off, watching my San Francisco 49ers get decimated by the Arizona Cardinals who didn’t have Kyler Murray or DeAndre Hopkins was maddening. To make matters even worse they lost their starting running back on the opening drive and we got destroyed by James Conner.

Also what is happening to the Cincinnati Bengals? This team was the number one team in the AFC just two weeks ago and now they are last in their own division. Something has to change, I don’t know if it’s in the coaching staff or the players but they can’t keep doing what they are doing.

But let’s put last week behind us. It was a miserable week but this one should be more enjoyable so let’s get started.

Carson Wentz, QB, Indianapolis Colts - $7,500

What happened to the Buffalo Bills in Week 9 was a fluke. The Jaguars do not have a good defense. Carson Wentz has been playing well and this is a plus matchup for him. A healthy Wentz should be able to shred this defense with ease. Carson Wentz has 17 total touchdowns this season, he is going to add to his total this week.

FanDuel outlook:

Carson Wentz is projected for over 19 points by Fantasy Six Pack. Wentz had 20 points in each of his last three games. The Jaguars should have a hard time containing Carson Wentz and this offense which tells me I want to stack him with Jonathan Taylor and Michael Pittman Jr. in a lot of my lineups. In the game against the New York Jets, the Colts scored a touchdown on their first four drives.

Other QBs I like: Justin Herbert ($8,000), Matt Ryan ($7,300), Teddy Bridgewater ($7,200)

Leonard Fournette, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - $7,400

Leonard Fournette has taken over the lead-back role. He has played well in this offense and looks to be getting better as the season is going on. Leonard Fournette is also seeing five targets per game which is giving him an upside that he has not seen before in his career. When Leonard Fournette is effective those play-action passes are gonna open up Tom Brady to throw the ball downfield.

FanDuel outlook:

Leonard Fournette is projected for almost 14 points by Fantasy Six Pack. The Washington Football Team defense has not been as good as we thought so Leonard Fournette can run wild against this team. With Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown having foot issues look for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to run the ball often.

Other RBs I like: Jonathan Taylor ($9,400), Austin Ekeler ($8,600), Cordarrelle Patterson ($7,800)

Diontae Johnson, WR, Pittsburg Steelers - $7,400

JuJu Smith-Schuster is injured and Chase Claypool is week to week - Diontae Johnson is the last man standing. Johnson was already the clear target leader for Ben Roethlisberger so I don’t expect any change from that. He is also the red zone target leader for the Steelers, but he only has two touchdowns to show for that. Johnson doesn’t need the touchdown to be effective, but if he does he could have a big game.

FanDuel outlook:

Diontae Johnson is projected for almost 14 points by Fantasy Six Pack. Johnson hasn’t been in the end zone since Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers. Diontae has the safest floor in the NFL but if we’re going to get a big blowout game from him he’s going to need to grab a touchdown or two.

Other WRs I like: Michael Pittman Jr. ($7,200), Mike Williams ($6,900), Emmanuel Sanders ($6,300)

Noah Fant, TE, Denver Broncos - $5,700

I am saving some money here and gone with Noah Fant as my tight end. He has been up and down this season but when he’s good he’s really good. He is off the COVID list and that is a good thing for Teddy Bridgewater. Fant is a talented player with a high outside. I am hoping he will get into the end zone which is all I look for in a tight end.

FanDuel outlook:

Noah Fant is projected for almost eight points by Fantasy Six Pack. Fant's best game was against the Las Vegas Raiders when he caught nine passes for 97 yards and a touchdown. Jerry Jeudy is back on the field that should open up the underneath passes for the tight end. If you want to save money on a tight end Noah Fant is my pick.

Other TEs I like: Dalton Schultz ($6,000), Dallas Goedert ($5,900), Dawson Knox ($5,800)
