2021 NFL DFS Week 3 FanDuel Picks

2021-22 NFL DFS Conference Championship Weekend FanDuel Picks

Welcome back, readers!  I hope you enjoy my 2021 NFL DFS FanDuel Week 3 Picks.

Week 2 was just as exciting as Week 1. We had a lot of matchups that had us on the edge of our seats. We also had some matchups that were just not watchable.

First, the Minnesota Vikings took on the Arizona Cardinals. This was the game to watch in Week 2. Dalvin Cook is just a special player putting up 131 yards on 22 carries. But unfortunately for the Vikings, the Cards have a special player of their own. He goes by the name of Kyler Murray. Kyler ended the game with 400 yards and three touchdowns in the air and one touchdown on the ground. Murray was able to put the Cardinals on his back and hand the Vikings their second loss of the season.

The Vikings are now the best 0-2 team in the NFL.

Unfortunately, there were also games that did not live up to the billing. The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins game was a mess. After Tua Tagovailoa got knock out early, it was all downhill for the Dolphins. Jacoby Brissett did not look good at all going 24-40 with 169 yards and one interception. If Tua is out in Week 3, Brissett will be under center again.

I don't usually talk about defenses but the Raiders are high on my list!

But let's get started. Here are my picks for FanDuel's Week 3 main slate.

Daniel Jones, QB, New York Giants  - $7,400

The jury is still out on if Jones is a Franchise quarterback, but lately, he has been a great Fantasy quarterback. In Jones's first two games he has a total of four touchdowns, two through the air, and two on the ground. Bring on the Atlanta Falcons defense. They have been bad in the first two games allowing an average of 29 points to the first two quarterbacks they faced - Jalen Hurts and Tom Brady. Look for a high-scoring game in New York.

FanDuel outlook:

Jones is projected for over 19 points by Fantasy Six Pack. Jones has been getting it done with both his arm and his legs. He is currently leading the Giants in Rushing yards. He has been good at protecting the ball so far with only one fumble lost and no interceptions. If he keeps that up, not only will he have a great fantasy day, but the Giants will get their first win.

Other QB's I like: Matthew Stafford ($7,600), Jared Goff ($7,000), Derek Carr ($7,200)

Chase Edmonds, RB, Arizona Cardinals - $6,600

The is a battle between two teams that are going in opposite directions. Edmonds has looked good in his first two games of the season. He racked up 183 yards from scrimmage with nine receptions out of the backfield. The only knock on Edmonds is that he has not found the end zone yet this season. But that could all change in this game. The Jaguars are not a good team and the Cardinals could be up big early in this game. We could see a heavy dose of Edmonds, and be witness to his first touchdown of the season.

FanDuel outlook:

Edmonds is projected for over 12 points by Fantasy Six Pack. Edmonds is great in the open field and could have a couple of breakaway scores before this game is done. You can stack Edmonds with Kyler Murray ($9,000), and DeAndre Hopkins ($8,500). With Edmonds's upside and low price tag, he is one of my favorite plays this week.

Other RBs I like: Dalvin Cook ($9,500), Najee Harris ($7,500), Ty'Son Williams ($6,400)

Ja'Marr Chase, WR, Cincinnati Bengals - $5,900

Chase is still shaking off the rust after not playing for a whole year due to COVID. The rookie Wide receiver is starting to connect with his Quarterback the same way he did in College. Chase is going up against the secondary of the Steelers, and they have not been as good as last season. I'm looking for a few deep targets thrown his way, and maybe a touchdown or two.

FanDuel outlook:

Chase is projected for over 12 points by Fantasy Six Pack. The Bengals offense has been rolling so far this season. Chase is happy to be back with Joe Burrow and it shows. If Tee Higgins is out, look for Chase's targets to go up.  Chase nab a touchdown in both his games, and he could get in the endzone again in this game.

Other WRs I like: Adam Thielen ($7,600),  Julio Jones ($6,700), Sterling Shepard ($6,400)

T.J. Hockenson, TE, Detroit Lions - $6,300

Hockenson has been the favorite target of Jared Goff. In the first two games of the season, he racked up 16 catches, 163 yards and two touchdowns on 20 targets. Hockenson is causing problems for defenses as no defensive back can cover him, and no linebacker can keep up with him. He might not need a touchdown in this game to be fantasy relevant, but he is the most like candidate to get in the endzone on this team.

FanDuel outlook:

Hockenson is projected for over 11 points by Fantasy Six Pack. The Baltimore Ravens are a tough defense, but they have not been good against the Tightend position. They are ranked 32nd against the position. Now granted they faced elite tight ends in the first two weeks in Darren Waller and Travis Kelce. With the way Hockenson has been playing, we can now add elite to his name as well.

Other TEs I like: Kyle Pitts ($6,200), Mark Andrews ($6,000) Tyler Higbee ($5,500)
