2021 NFL DFS Week 4 FanDuel Picks

2021-22 NFL DFS Conference Championship Weekend FanDuel Picks

Welcome back, readers!  I hope you enjoy my 2021 NFL DFS FanDuel Week 4 Picks.

Good football was played around the league Week 3. We had some great passes, we had some amazing catches and we had some awesome breakaway runs. But the show was stolen by an NFL record-setting, game-winning, 66-yard field goal by Justin Tucker.

No one gave the Detroit Lions a chance against the Baltimore Ravens. But it somehow turned into a close game. The Ravens were plagued by dropped passes throughout the game. Although Baltimore made mistake after mistake, the Lions could not capitalize. But finally, in the fourth quarter, the Lions scored 10 unanswered points that put them ahead. Unfortunately, they left too much time on the clock.

The Ravens were able to march halfway down the field and set up an improbable kick. Justin Tucker got a chance to make history and nailed a 66-yard field goal. You could just hear the entire Detroit fan base hearts break all at once.

But that's enough about kickers, they are not important to our goal. And that is to craft the best DFS lineup we can

So let's get started. Here are my picks for FanDuel's Week 4 main slate.

Sam Darnold, QB, Carolina Panthers  - $7,000

Darnold looks good after departing from Adam Gase.  Darnold is averaging 296 yards per game with six total touchdowns. He has his new team sitting at 3-0 and playing well. He is going up against a Cowboy defense that is looking better but still gives up Fantasy points to the quarterback. This can become a shootout with plenty of Fantasy points to go around.

FanDuel outlook:

Darnold is projected for almost 19 points by Fantasy Six Pack. He has the best weapons he's ever had around him. Even with Christian McCaffrey out of the game, they should have no problem moving the ball. I'm stacking him with D.J. Moore in most of my lineups. With Run CMC out he should see more targets in the slot.

Other QBs I like: Kirk Cousins ($7,500), Taylor Heinicke ($7,400), Baker Mayfield ($7,300)

Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts - $6,600

I'm calling my shot here. This is going to be Taylor's breakout game for the season. This is a plus matchup for Taylor. Miami is a good defense, but running backs has been running wild on them. The Dolphins allowed 100-yard rushers in two of three games. The only game they kept a back under 100, was Devin Singletary. But he racked up 82 yards on just 13 carries. Taylor is a solid DFS play in Week 4.

FanDuel outlook:

Taylor is projected for over 14 points by Fantasy Six Pack. He saw seven targets in his first game of the season, and then only four in the next two combined. Taylor is an excellent pass-catcher, so he is going to see more targets come his way. He is the best back on the Colts roster, and he will be more involved in the offense.

Other RBs I like: David Montgomery ($7,500), D'Andre Swift ($7,700), Chuba Hubbard ($6,300)

Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Football Team - $7,100

You can throw out his last game cause he went up against the Buffalo Bills defense. The Bills have yet to allow a 100-yard receiver. The last time McLaurin was in a plus matchup he balled out to a tune of 11 catches 107 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets. McLaurin is the number one target in this offense. There is no corner on the Atlanta Falcons that can keep up with him.

FanDuel outlook:

McLaurin is projected for almost 14 points by Fantasy Six Pack. If WFT is going to win this game they have to get the McLaurin more than seven targets. Scary Terry has only been in the end zone once this season. The coaching staff is going to make a concerted effort to get him looks in the red zone.

Other WRs I like: D.J. Moore ($7300), Deebo Samuel ($6,900), Christian Kirk ($6,000)

Logan Thomas, TE, Washington Football Team - $5,800

This one was a tough call, I know I'm picking another WFT player here. But when you are picking a tight end and you don't have enough money left for Travis Kelce, go for one that might catch a touchdown. In three games Thomas has two touchdowns and is the second option in Washington. The Falcons give up points all over the field, so having two pass-catchers will not cap your lineup upside. Washington is in play as a secondary stack if you don't want to roll with Heinicke at quarterback.

FanDuel outlook:

Thomas is projected for almost 9 points by Fantasy Six Pack. Thomas has had double-digit Fantasy points twice this season. The 6'6 frame of Thomas makes him a great target in the red zone. With his price tag, he could be the best bargain in your lineup.

Other TEs I like: Dallas Goedert ($6,000), Noah Fant ($5,700), Dawson Knox ($5,600)
