Welcome back to the 2021 NFL Week 5 Monday Night Football Prop Bets!
We're staying in the AFC again this Monday when the Indianapolis Colts take on the Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens are currently favored by a touchdown at home with the total sitting at 46.5 points.
Both the Colts and Ravens remain to be committed to running the ball are two of the slowest-paced teams in the league. The Colts were finally able to get Jonathan Taylor going last week. He cracked the 100-yard mark for the first time in 2021, while also finding the end zone for the first time this season.
However, he still only saw 51% of the offensive snaps, while Marlon Mack saw 31% of the snaps for some reason. Nyheim Hines saw season-lows in snaps and scrimmage yards, mainly due to the Colts playing from ahead for the entire game. With Indy being seven-point underdogs, the game script should be in Hines' favor tonight.
Carson Wentz had his best game of the season last week in their win over the Dolphins. He completed 75% of his passes for 228 yards and two touchdowns. He is still dealing with his ankle injuries so his mobility has been limited. I expect the Ravens' to do their best to get after Wentz tonight and really test out those legs/ankles.
The running back room has been a mess since losing both J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards to season-ending injuries. Last week we saw Ty'Son Williams be a healthy scratch, while they rolled with Latavius Murray, Devonta Freeman, and Le'Veon Bell. Murray saw the majority of the snaps, but I'm completely staying away from this situation until we have some more clarity on who the lead-back is.
I don't think the Colts have the offensive firepower to stick with the Ravens and would not be surprised if this one gets ugly.

On a bit of a cold streak the last two weeks. Tonight's the night we turn that around.

Marquise Brown - OVER 54.5 receiving yards (-120 on DK) 2 units
Marquise Brown - OVER 22.5 longest reception (-113 on FD)
After dealing with a case of the drops in Week 3, Marquise Brown bounced back with 4/91/1 on five targets in last weeks' win over the Broncos. That now makes it 11 out of his last 12 games that he has put up 85+ receiving yards and/or scored a touchdown.
He gets a great matchup against a Colts' secondary that features mostly Cover 2 and Cover 3. Brown has absolutely destroyed these two coverages over the last three seasons. They are also allowing just over 15 YPC to opposing receivers. Brown has also topped his longest reception number in each game this year with catches of 29, 42, 37, and 49.
Mark Andrews - Anytime TD (+130 on DK)
Mark Andrews has yet to find the end zone this year. He and George Kittle are the only two tight ends in the top-19 that have yet to score.
Mike Gesicki is the most talented TE that the Colts have faced through four weeks. He got them for 5/57/1 on six targets in this matchup last week.
Andrews will find his way into the end zone tonight for the first time of the 2021 season.
Longshots/Same Game Parlay
FD SGP - BAL -2/5 + Under 49.5 + Brown 60+ rec yds + Andrews TD + Jackson 50+ rush yds (+1371) 0.4 units to win 5.5
As I did last week, I will be looking to hit some live props depending on how the game is panning out. It worked out well last week with neither player starting the game out with much production and I was able to get some very low numbers for them.
This week I have my eye on Nyheim Hines receiving props. Currently, none of the books have anything posted for him so I am waiting for them to be released. Ideally, I would like to wait until the game starts and his receiving props should decrease quite a bit if he goes without a catch early on.
Best of luck and if you have any questions feel free to ask me on Twitter @KSalamido
