2021 NFL Week 7 Monday Night Football Prop Bets

on

Welcome back to the 2021 NFL Week 7 Monday Night Football Prop Bets!

We’re back in the NFC this Monday with a matchup between the New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks.

I’ll be honest I’m not jumping out of my seat to watch this battle between Geno Smith and Jameis Winston tonight. I don’t expect this to be one of the more exciting games of the Week 7 slate, but we’ll find a couple of props to make it a bit more interesting.

The Seahawks are currently 4.5 home underdogs, with the total sitting at 41.5 points. Vegas doesn’t see the offenses having much success tonight, and I’m on board with them.

If you’re into trends, then all signs are pointing to a low-scoring game even more. In their last eight games, the Saints are 6-2 toward the under while the Seahawks are 5-1 towards the under this season.

Both teams are also last and second last in plays run per game. Oh and don’t forget about the weather. The same storm that was in San Francisco last night is potentially working its way up the coast so keep an eye on that.

Most of the Monday night games have not gone as expected, but this one should be ugly with possibly the fewest offensive plays of any game through seven weeks.

2021 Season recap:

Player Props – 15-12 (+3.08 units)

Longshots/SGP – 1-13 (-1.51 units)

Overall – 14-21 (+1.57 units)

Week 6 recap:

Player Props – 2-2 (-0.14 units)

Longshots/SGP – 0-2 (-1.5 units)

Overall – 2-4 (-1.64 units)

Stefon Diggs came through for us, cashing in on both of his props. Unfortunately, Zack Moss had his worst game of the season, only posting 24 rushing yards which cost us finishing the night positive.

All of my bets will be to win 1 unit unless noted otherwise. (“Risk” 1u on underdogs, “To Win” 1u on favorites)

Geno Smith – OVER 30.5 passing attempts (-110 on DK)

Well, I don’t love Geno Smith, but I expect that he will be forced to throw the ball a ton tonight. The Seahawks are 4.5 underdogs so the game script should be in his favor.

Smith threw it 32 times in his start last week against the Steelers. Opposing quarterbacks are averaging 41 pass attempts against the Saints this season.

Chris Carson is out and Alex Collins is banged up so this running back room is a mess right now. Seattle will have to move it through the air if they plan to keep this one close.

Jamal Adams – OVER 5.5 tackles + assists (-150 on DK)

I don’t usually play props on the defensive side of the ball, but I am not expecting much from either offense tonight so there’s not many options that I feel comfortable with.

Adams has gone over this number in five of his six games this year so I’m willing to take a chance on him making it six of seven.

Longshots/Same Game Parlay

Alvin Kamara – 2+ TDs (+360 on DK) 0.5u to win 1.8

FD SGP – Kamara 70+ rush yds + Kamara TD + Under 47.5 (+178)

Final Thoughts

There’s just not a lot to love on the offensive side of the ball in this matchup so I am keeping it light. I will be keeping an eye on live props depending on how the game starts out, mainly Alvin Kamara props.

I will update this page when/if I see anything else that I like. Be sure to check back before kickoff!
