2023-24 Fantasy Basketball Week Waiver Wire

Hello Fantasy Basketball Junkies! Welcome to the 2022-23 Fantasy Basketball Week 14 Waiver Wire.

If you want the best waiver wire options, you have arrived at the right place. We will give you a list of free-agent players you need during week 14.

The focus will be on players that are roughly less than 40% owned in Yahoo leagues, with some over 40% that you will need to check your league's availability.

I will keep each waiver wire column focused on new names, only touching on previous players if they are still widely available.

T.J. McConnell, PG, Indiana Pacers (42% owned)

Tyrese Haliburton will be sidelined for two weeks after sustaining injuries to his left elbow and knee. As a result, T.J. McConnell emerges as an excellent stream in standard leagues. T.J. McConnell has stepped up in the last two games in Tyrese Haliburton's absence. In just 24.3 minutes per game, he averaged 13.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 9.0 assists, and 2.0 steals while shooting 60.0% from the field. His statistics place him in the top 46 in nine-category leagues during that period.

T.J. McConnell's per-36 averages are outstanding. He has a 12.1 PP36, 5.1 RP36, 8.9 AP36, and 2.1 SP36 average. Therefore, if you need assists, steals, out-of-position rebounds, and efficient percentages, feel free to grab and stream T.J. McConnell. Until Tyrese Haliburton returns, he will be useful in nine-category leagues.

Andrew Nembhard, PG/SG, Indiana Pacers (37% owned)

If you need a point guard but didn't grab T.J. Mcconnell off the waiver wire, consider adding Andrew Nembhard. Coach Rick Carlisle has kept Andrew Nembhard in the starting lineup as point guard for the Indiana Pacers, while Tyrese Haliburton is out for two weeks with an injury.

Andrew Nembhard has  underperformed in the last two games without Tyrese Haliburton. He shot a miserable 16% from the field and averaged just 6.5 points, 1.5 three-pointers, 3.5 boards, and 6.0 assists per game. However, Andrew Nembhard can find his shot and start racking up threes in the upcoming two weeks. More importantly, Coach Rick Carlisle believes in Andrew Nembhard and recently stated that Nembhard "has a chance to play more point" in an interview.

In deep leagues, I would risk starting the rookie, Andrew Nembhard. While waiting for Tyrese Haliburton's return, he will provide a welcome boost in points, threes, assists, and steals.

T.J. Warren, SF/PF, Brooklyn Nets (32% owned)

T.J. Warren was outstanding in the last game where Kevin Durant was absent. In only 28 minutes of playing time, he had 20 points, 2.0 3-pointers, 1.0 rebound, 1.0 assist, and 1.0 block while shooting 50% from the field. The minutes are reassuring. T.J. Warren can boost FG% and points if he can play in the high 20s.

The Brooklyn Nets have four games scheduled for next week. There is a good stretch where they play three games in four nights. On Tuesday, they'll meet the San Antonio Spurs. Following that, on Thursday and Friday, they have a back-to-back against the Phoenix Suns and the Utah Jazz. They'll wrap up their week on Sunday when they take on the Golden State Warriors.

In week 14, feel free to grab T.J. Warren and put him in your streaming lineup. If he can avoid injury, he could serve as a solid hold until Kevin Durant gets back. The Brooklyn Nets will undoubtedly require some offensive help to fill the void left by Kevin Durant, and T.J. Warren is a proven efficient scorer, as we have seen in the past.

Chris Boucher, PF/C, Toronto Raptors (20% owned)

Chris Boucher should be on your radar in week 14 if you play in a very deep league. However, if it were a standard league, I might not even bother.

Because the Toronto Raptors have five games this week, head coach Nick Nurse will likely rest some of his starters. It's unclear if the team's top players will get a day off, but with a busy week ahead, Chris Boucher could see more playing time. Chris Boucher can help in deeper leagues if you're looking for more rebounds and blocks.

If you're in a deep league, add Chris Boucher and stream him in Week 14. Even if taking a chance on him doesn't pan out, he still might be worthwhile.

Here are some players who might also be relevant in the upcoming week:
