Week 23 Playoff Streamer Consideration

It is important to decide who to stream (assuming you can get ahead of your opponents on the wire).

Elements to consider are minutes, performance in the last 6-9 games, and their role (for players resting or injured) alongside their potential upside. You will also need to be very vigilantly looking for players' updates and notes to make the proper moves.

Week 23 Playoff Streamer Consideration

Golden State Warriors

Jonathan Kuminga (PF/C)

With nine games remaining in March, Kuminga has a strong nine-game average of 16.1 points (59.6% FG, 50.0% 3PT, 73.7% FT), 4.8 boards, 2.0 assists, 1.4 three-pointers, 1.2 steals, and 0.7 blocks in 25.8 minutes. In three of the previous six games, he has also scored over 20 points. Given his mix of size and quickness, Kuminga's rebounding is lacking and his shooting percentages are soon due for some regression, but he has appeared to win a prominent role for the Warriors in Andrew Wiggins' absence (personal).

Portland Trail Blazers

Shaedon Sharpe (SG/SF/PF)

With a career-high 24 points, nine rebounds, four 3-pointers, four swipes, and three assists in 40 minutes against the Jazz, Sharpe is coming off another strong performance. Anfernee Simons (foot) and Jerami Grant (quadriceps) are both expected to return at some point, but it's unclear when, and with Portland's playoff chances fading (3.5 games out of 10th), Sharpe may have a few more big games left in him. In addition, the Trail Blazers will play four games the following week.

Minnesota Timberwolves

Naz Reid (C)

Seldom does a player's rostered percentage decline over the following several days after he just put up 26 points, eight rebounds, two 3-pointers, and two steals in 26 minutes. Reid, however, experienced that yesterday (-1%). It seems reasonable at first glance given that Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) returned to the rotation on Wednesday. While Reid has been on a roll lately, scoring at least ten points in 11 of his 12 games after the All-Star break.

Theoretically, Reid shouldn't have many minutes available on nights when Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert are active, yet on the same night that Towns returned to the game, Reid racked up his highest minute total in a month. Reid might so continue to contribute offensively off the bench. With four games on Minnesota's schedule the following week, Reid shouldn't be disregarded, especially in deep leagues.
